Horror was sitting on the couch, as usual. He was watching, you guessed it! Or not. Cinderella. Because he could, and nobody minded. Around a year ago Error had somehow stolen some Disney movies.
Horror let out a long sigh, messing around with the large hole in his skull, tracing the edge. He flinched at the memory of how he got it. He tried to move his mind off from the subject. He wasn't even paying attention to the movie. He was starting to feel a little lonely.
You see, in honor of that day known as Valentines Day to many, most of the gang had gone somewhere in the multiverse with their partners. Almost everyone had partners. Almost. Hell, even Nightmare of all people had a boyfriend that he was currently on a date with.
Horror had been planning to ask his crush out today, but he was nowhere to be found. He was starting to think someone had already stole his heart before he could get a chance. It was rather depressing to think about.
"BOO!"
Horror jumped out of his seat like a cat that had just been woken up by someone blasting 'Never gonna give you up' on their phone. "HOLY ASGORE- WHAT THE HELL, DUST! YOU SCARED THE LIFE OUTTA' ME, jeeze, man" Horror shouted in shock from the sudden noise. He turned to see Dust giving him a smug grin, not regretting his choices one bit. "Awweh, I thought you liked jump scares~" Dust replied teasingly, slowly walking around from the back of the couch to where Horror was standing, still holding his grin. Horror looked away from Dust, effectively shielding his light blush, faking annoyance as he did.
Dust leaned towards the other skeleton, the grin turning into a smile. "Sooooo . . . Why are you still here? I thought you would've gone off with I don't know, your crush or something, it is Valentines after all." Horror asked, turning his skull back to face Dust, blush still slightly present on his cheekbones. "Well, uh, 'bout that. I don't exactly have anyone to go off to somewhere in the multiverse with, heh . . ."
"Are you asking me out-?"
"W-WHA- I uh- No? Yes- No?" Dust's skull erupted into blush, his mind was screaming for him to run away and just forget about it. Horror had other things on his mind.
Horror wasn't exactly sure what he was doing, he knew that he could regret it if his thoughts were wrong, but he did it anyway. He kissed him.
Dust almost literally melted into the kiss, this is what he had been wanting for years, and no doubt was it perfect. He'd only seen this moment happen in dreams, but oh boy was it better in person. To his disappointment, the kiss broke, both were blushing messes at that point. "I- Uhm, I hope that answers your question"
The two later spent the rest of their day together, Dust and Horror opening up their hidden feelings towards each other. They traveled around, and even went to a nice cafe at one point. Neither really liked going out to expensive and flashy restaurants.
That day was probably the best day of their lives.

Hey everyone! Sorry about slow updates for this book, I'm currently still trying to get out as many chapters for EVH as I can write them, while still balancing other things.
I wrote this on a bit of a time scale, and a bad stomach ache, so sorry for making it short!
