Cheese! ~Alistair x Reader~

-okay, so this is gonna be in 1st person instead of 2nd... hope you guys don't mind... love you all! Thanks for reading and this was a request by @SisStrider , oh and (D/N) means dog name.-

I sat on a log beside the warm fire. The cold, mountain air of Ferelden seemed to disappear, for the moment. I sniffed, I was expecting the smell of pine and dirt but got.... cheese? I lifted my gaze from the fire and looked around. Morrigan was over at her corner, Sten was polishing his sword that I found, Oghren chugging down ale, my Mabari (D/N) digging, Zevran talking to Shale and Leliana toying with her shoes.... then I saw Alistair.... with a whole wheel of cheese, then he sliced a peice out of it and began to eat. I stood and walked over to Alistair then sat beside him. "Is that cheese?" I said and looked at the huge, yellow food then up at him. "Am I a Grey Warden?" Alistair replied and took a bite out of his cheese wedge. "Can I have some?" I said with my best puppy dog eyes, it has always worked on him.... ever since we started a relationship it had worked, Hell, even before that it did. "But....I really like cheese... a lot.... and this kind is expensive...." He said, looking from me down to the delicious cheese. "Pwease, Alibear?" I said and fluttered my eyelashes, he looked up to see me do my puppy dog eye maximum level then groaned, slicing a peice out and handing it to me. I squealed in delight and chomped down into it, the taste washing over my tongue. I smiled and swallowed it, "Thank you, Alistair." I said and kissed his cheek, making his face turn blood red. "Anything for you, (Y/N)...." Alistair said and kissed my cheek back, this time making me blush. "Now, shall we stuff our faces like pigs?" I said smiling. Just when we both looked down at it to cut more out, (D/N) grabbed the wheel with his mouth and darted off. Alistair jumped up with a scream, "NO! COME BACK WITH OUR CHEESE, (D/N)!!!!" He yelled and chased (D/N) around the camp. I facepalmed and laughed. "It's covered in dog spit now, just let it go!" I said with a laugh. "So? It's cheese!!!!" Alistair said back and continued chasing (D/N), by now everyone in the camp was watching the scene. I shook my head. What would I do without Alistair? Probably be sane.... how boring....
