My Perfect Rose ~Yandere!Alistair x Reader~

I took a deep, shaky breath. What I was about to do is going to hurt Alistair so bad, even me because I know he doesn't deserve this... sadly, I can't control my heart... I approached the brown haired male. "Your wish is my command." Alistair greeted and I smiled nervously, "Alistair, can we speak privately...?" I asked. "We're in camp, so it's as good a time as ever." He said with a smile and I felt my heart wrench.

"U-Um... I think we should end this."

His smile instantly faded into a frown. "...May I ask why?" He asked and I looked down at the ground. "I-I'm interested in someone else..." I said in a voice barely above a whisper. "Who?" He asked angrily. This doesn't sound like the Alistair I know... "Erm... Zevran." I squeaked out, there was a feeling around Alistair that scared me...

"...I'll leave you alone, then. Since that's what you want." He growled out and I scurried away, deciding I'd  be the one to leave him alone. I sighed and dug around in my pouch for something to calm me down. I saw the rose Alistair had given me then I quickly shut my pouch. Damn it... he must be hurt so badly... I feel terrible but I truly love Zevran now, he may seem weird and perverted but he's really kind when he wants to be.

Speaking of Zev... I walked over to the elf with a smile,  "Hey! It's okay for us to be together now!" Zevran smiled and I tackled him in a hug, though this odd feeling of being watched lingered in me. Weird... I shook of the feeling when Zevran hugged me back. "I love you, (Y/n)." He said and kissed me, I giggled. "I love you, too." I said and kissed his lips back.

"Hey, you two, can I speak with you both."

I jumped at the sudden voice and unattached myself from Zevran. I turned and saw who the voice belonged to...

Alistair.

How awkward.

"Erm... Yes, Warden?" Zevran said and Alistair smiled. "Well, for some close friends of mine, I say we go and relax... I found this nice hot spring deeper in the woods... Just the three of us could go!" Alistair said happily... I'm kind of glad that he's taking me leaving well but won't it be awkward? On the other hand, I might hurt him more if I don't say I'll go. "I... guess we can go..." I said and glanced over at Zevran nervously. Alistair smiled larger and nodded. "Let's go now." Alistair said and I sighed, following after Alistair while holding Zevran's hand.

I looked around, really confused. We had been walking for hours and suddenly Alistair had stopped... there's not even a hot spring nearby... I'm getting suspicious... Alistair laughed a bit, "I can't believe Morrigan thinks I'm an idiot!" Alistair laughed harder. I took a step back... I'm getting scared. Zevran stood infront of me, "Alistair, you're scaring (Y/n)!" Zevran said to Alistair in a not so friendly tone. "What's wrong with you!?" I screamed at him, he's acting crazy! "What's wrong? What's wrong!? You're what's wrong with me! You left me... I loved you, and I still love you! But nope! That stupid elf had to take you from me! You're mine, damn you! All mine!" Alistair said and scowled at Zev, "Now, I'm taking you back, my sweet (Y/n)..."

In the blink of an eye, Alistair had unsheathed his sword and charged at Zevran. I jump backwards, thank the Maker for quick reflexes, but Zevran wasn't as lucky. Zevran had moved but Alistair was swinging from the direction he jumped too and the sword got lodged into Zevran's armor.

I gasped and I heard a grunt come from the wounded elf, blood seeped out around the sword and dribbled to the ground. Alistair laughed and pulled the sword out, making Zevran fall to his knees. "Any last words, Zevran?" Alistair asked and raised the sword way above his head. My heart was pounding like crazy, and even though I've been in situations way worse than this, I froze in fear. I was about to witness my love be murdered. "Yes," Zevran turned his head to look at me and he smiled sadly, "I lo-" he got cut off by Alistair slamming his sword down.

"NO!" I screeched out, the blood splintering onto me as tears spilled from my eyes. Alistair chuckled and walked up to me, I was too idiotic to move. "Now, love, we can be together again!" Alistair said cheerfully as he cupped my face with his hands. I sniffled and jerked away from him. "Y-You....You killed him!" I said and pointed at him.

"I did, so we could be together and have a family. A good family! Don't you want that?" Alistair asked and grapped onto my wrist tightly, "Not with you..." I said and his grip tightened. I groaned in pain. "Why not? I love you! Can't you see that?" He asked, sounding somewhat desperate. "But, I don't love you!" I yelled and he tugged me foreward, causing me to be pressed up against him. "You know if I can't have you, no one can." He growled and my eyes widened. "A-Alistair?" My voice was filled with fear and I felt his muscles tense as he wrapped his arms around my waist tightly.

"Your voice is beautiful when you're scared..." Alistair said, "And I love that I make it that way..."

I started to shake, making him laugh wickedly. "This'll only hurt a bit, love... I'm truly sorry it came to this." Alistair said and I struggled, that is until I felt a blade slide into my side, right between my ribs. I gasped in pain and looked up into Alistair's warm, honey eyes. "I love you." Was the last words I ever heard as he shoved the blade deeper and I passed out, everything was just too much for me.

I know I'm not ever going to wake again.

Alistair held his beloved in his arms, a huge smile on his face. She was his rose, the thing of beauty among this darkness... too bad he was part of the darkness and it had consumed yet another peice of the light.

Though, Alistair didn't view it that way. He was simply keeping what was his, it seemed  natural to want to keep her, no matter what.

She was his perfect rose.
