Chapter 1 - empire game

As the stadium fills you rush to get to your seat before the game starts. Pete can't be seen anywhere. You sigh as you put on your blue empires cap he gave you a few days before. He has to see me. You think to yourself as the players flow into the pitch. While the anthem is sung you notice Pete's eyes wondering. He was looking for you! You raise your head a little trying to make your self visible. His eyes lock onto yours and you see his beautiful smile light up his face. Butterflies fill your stomach as you smile back. He gives you a nod as Jose pushes him back towards the sidelines

The game begins and the empires are doing well. You see Pete glance over at you every 5 minutes trying to hide his smile. Jose notices he is distracted and flicks his head. "Focus scrub!" You lip read as Pete tightens his cap while looking down. Jose follows Pete's eyeline to see you. His brows furrow. But you can see the slight smile in the corner of his mouth. You look down embarrassed. You didn't want to get Pete into trouble.

Soon the match was over, luckily the empires won. Pete jogged over grinning. "I'm glad you came." Pete said his cap covering his face as he looked down. You smiled as you looked into his curios blue eyes. "I'm glad I came too" you said leaning on the thin wall between you and him. "Hey Pete, get over here" yelled CT Pete looked back at you "I'm sorry, I- I have to go." He said reluctantly. "Hey it's okay." You say still smiling. "Do you wanna meet up at lake tomorrow?" Said Pete you could see his cheeks flushing red. "Yeah, I'd love too" you say looking over at CT still waiting there, "but you should go, I don't want to keep you." Pete smiles his eyes glinting in the golden sun. "See you tomorrow." He said before jogging off to join the other empires.

You catch your breath as you realise what is going to happen tomorrow. I am going to meet with Pete young. You think to your self as you watch him run away. You sigh happily and turn around to head home.
