You open your eyes to see yourself lying in the grass, surrounded by a dense forest. You lift yourself off the ground and begin searching for nearby civilization. I need to find out where I am. You find a dirt path nearby and decide to follow it.

It didn't take long for you to find a small village. You were perched upon a small hill next to a giant tree stump. From the hill, you could see the village that had defenses set up. You decide to go to the village and ask for directions to... somewhere.

As you got closer to the village, you began to notice a recurring theme. The defense walls had been knocked over or were barely standing. Please don't be deserted. Cutting your thoughts off, screams could be heard from deep within the village. You change from a steady walk to a sprint.

As you enter the village, you could see three green goblin-looking creatures banging on a door. Without hesitation, you get into a fighting stance. The goblins seemed to notice you, as they turned around and stared you down.

"What are you doing here?" One of them yelled. "Ah, it don't matter. Get 'im, boys!" The three goblins dashed at you with great speed, clubs at the ready.

"Wait, where's my spear?! I was promised a spear!" You pat down your body all over. Oh, crap! The goblins begin to laugh.

"You wanted to fight us without weapons? You shouldn't get cocky, kid." The goblin that spoke for the group threw a large swing at you, which you managed to dodge.

"That was close!" You keep your distance from the goblins. "Okay, spear. Now would be a good time if you would show yourself!" You begin moving your hand in a grabbing motion. That seemed to do something, as a dark mist began to swarm around your palm. A purple spear decorated with small white circles and stars materialized in your clenched hand. "That's better." The goblins saw this happen and began to back up. "Not so tough now, are you?" You taunted the goblins. They gulped in fear and began to run in the opposite direction. "Oh no, you don't!" You sprint after the three goblins and slew them all with one hit.

Something that caught you off guard was the blood that came out of them. Their bodies didn't disappear into pixels either. That's right. This isn't a game. You took a look at your blood-soaked spear with a hint of guilt beginning to swarm over you. You shake the thought away for now and sheath your spear. The same dark mist that appeared before enveloped your spear and it disappeared into thin air. "That's a bit cool." You chuckle.

You walk back to the house and knock on the wooden door. "Hello?" You shout. "You can come out now. I cleared your goblin problem." The door began to slowly move inward, a few faces peering through the crack. The door then immediately flew on all the way, a look of astonishment and surprise on all of their faces. Inside the house were three adults - two males and one female - and two small children - one male, the other female.

"You..." The male with brown hair muttered. "You're the God, Apollo." He said. You stood in silence. Should I go along with it? I don't want to up and tell them their existence is a lie. "You're the God, Apollo." He repeated. You hesitantly nod. He rushes out the door and shakes your hand wildly. "It is you! I knew it! Thank the Goddesses! Er- and God. You looked exactly the way the tapestries had shown you!" The other people inside the house grew wide smiles. Smiles of hope.

"Oh, yes! Mr. Apollo, we have more people further into the village that need help. Please, can you save them!"

"I've got it. Stay safe in here until all of the goblins have been taken care of." You warn. The man nods and goes back inside. You take that as an opportunity to run deeper into the village.
