"Attention: The Battle Royale will begin in thirty minutes." The announcer says over the intercom. " All participants must head to the basement where you will then be teleported onto the battlefield." You turn back to everyone at the table after the voice stopped its message.

"Everyone ready for the battle?" Kureha asks. "This won't be easy."

"As ready as I'll ever be!" Akira shouts with enthusiasm, causing a few people to look your way. You simply sigh and slowly shake your head.

"I won't actively search for any of you," Zeliska begins. "But if one of you cross my sights, be ready for a fight. I'm in this to win."

"Same here." Everyone agrees.

"Glad that's settled."

You all continue talking about tactics until the intercom started up again. "The Battle Royale will begin in five minutes. Please have your equipment at the ready."

"See you all on the battlefield." You say as you rise from the table. Everyone gives a quick nod in response. You walk from the table and into the changing room to open your inventory and put on your equipment. Seconds later, you were teleported into the black room you had seen countless times before, the timer counting down above you. You take a deep breath, "I can't lose." You wipe all distractions from your mind and a bright beacon engulfs you.

Damn! He's spotted me! Bullets start unloading towards your direction. You quickly shrink your body behind the large rock you were using as cover. Right now you were in a gunfight with a player named Keith. His main weapon was a submachine gun. Not very accurate, but it shot fast. You wait until you could hear no more shots being fired, then peek over the rock, eyes looking through your scope, sniper leaned on the top of the boulder for stability. You could see a small glimpse of Keith's head peeking out from over the small trees. You pull the trigger whenever the bullet circle shrunk, not giving Keith the chance to fully reload. A red banner appeared where Keith's body was laying. 'Dead'.

You raise your left arm and began reading the time on a small watch that Zeliska had given you before the Battle Royale had started. 3:58 pm. Right on time. You take out a small device that shows the entire map when opened. There were nineteen opponents left in play.

Currently, you were located in the mountain area. You had just taken out a player named Richie, who was on the peak of the mountain shooting at everyone who came close with his heavy machine gun. You managed to sneak up on him and snipe him from behind. That's when Keith came out of the woodwork.

In a few minutes, small dots began to appear on the map. The green one was yours, and it currently had no other white dots close by. You quickly press as many white dots as possible, trying to figure out who your next target would be. One of the dots you clicked had shown Akira's name and he was surrounded by four other players. He's in trouble. You think to yourself. I'd better head there and give him a hand. The tiny dots began to flash. Before they disappeared, you quickly tap the remaining dots. Thankfully, all of your friend's names were still in the battle. You breathe a sigh of relief and close your holographic map. Hang in there, Akira.

The walk took about seven minutes, but you managed to make it to Akira's location. From your position up on a nearby hill, you could see two players fighting it out among the trees. You go prone, set up your sniper's legs and legs, and peer through the scope. You line up your bullet circle with the player that was wide in the open. As the circle got as small as it could, you pulled the trigger on the unsuspecting victim. You quickly reload, eyes still on the player. A red banner appeared over the player's body. You move your sniper to focus on the other player and did the same. Just like the other, a red banner was seen floating above the body.
