Chapter 4 - Land Of Faries

With the warm, late spring air flowing all around you, and the adrenaline getting pumped to every inch of your body, you soar through the air like a giddy child. Every few seconds you let out a massive 'Yeah!' or 'Woohoo!' unable to contain your immaturity. I'm actually flying! And it feels so real! While doing all types of tricks, like barrel rolls or loop the loop, you can hear Sinon laughing at your childish wonder.

"I know it's your first time flying, but you're the only person I've seen to get this excited about it."
"Are you kidding? This is awesome! Every kid wanted to fly when they were younger but I'm on a whole other level."
"Really, now? Well, I guess you wouldn't mind a little race? First to reach Aincrad's outer wall wins. Sound good?"
"You're on!"
"On 'Go'," Sinon said. "Three. Two-" Right after two, Sinon took off at lightning speed leaving you in the dust.
"Hey!" You shout. Not hesitating any longer, you beat your wings as fast as you could to catch up.

Although you were a slight bit mad Sinon took off before the timer finished, you still couldn't help hiding the smile that was plastered on your face. You could see Sinon's figure in the distance slowly getting larger. I'm getting close. You thought. This'll teach you for cheating. Fully focused on catching up to Sinon, you didn't notice the other players you whizzed by while flying through the air. Almost there. Sinon was a short distance away now. Only a few more seconds until you caught up. You were getting closer.
Closer.
Closer.
Suddenly, Sinon came to a halt. Averting your gaze you could see the wall of Aincrad's outer layer was the only thing filling your vision. Trying desperately to halt your pace, you stop beating your wings. It wasn't enough. You hold your arms in front of your face in one last attempt to brace for the impact...

Nothing happened. You open your eyes to see the wall in front of you. You somehow managed to stop. Turning around, you see Sinon has the back of your collar. She was what stopped you from colliding with the floating castle. "Are you okay?" She had a smirk on her face.
"You were thinking of letting me hit that wall, weren't you?"
"I would be lying if I said I wasn't." The smile you bore a few seconds prior returned to your face.
"I guess I should thank you, Ms. Cheater."
"Excuse me?"
"I'm just saying this wouldn't have happened if we started at 'Go'. I would have won without a broken nose."
"'Win'? Oh please, I was way ahead of you."
"I wonder why that is?"
"Alright, alright. Let's just head up to Floor 22."
"We're not finished here." Leaving your conversation, for now, you both head to Floor 22 with beaming smiles on each of your faces, enjoying the banter you shared.

Opening the door, you see Kirito, Asuna, Yui, Lizbeth, and Klein reading through an article. Noticing your entrance, Kirito greets you.  "U/N! Sinon! Glad you could make it."
"Why the long faces?" You ask.
"We were reading the latest article of MMO Today." I'm guessing that's an MMO newspaper. "You might want to have a look at this Sinon." Sinon heeded Kirito's request and took a look at the article. Curious, you took a peek as well.

SAO Killers Escaped.
Late last night, three members of the infamous Sword Art Online Murderer Guild, Laughing Coffin, have escaped police custody. Members of the police force are searching for these members but so far very little evidence has been provided to help locate these criminals. The three escapees are as follows:
Yurei Yamamoto, Shinigami Sugawara, Sadako Yamamura.

After reading the article you began to worry. You've heard of the Laughing Coffin group before when all of the people from SAO were released. The remaining guild members were put under arrest apart from a few that weren't located. The two leaders - Red-Eyed XaXa and Johnny Black - and a few others. Those names you remembered because of a recent article saying they were also involved with the murders in GGO. I know they're bad people but why are they worrying? You think. It's making me worry.
