Takeru skips in front of us, Toru carries Takeru's bag and wraps his arm around my shoulder. We're picking up Takeru from volleyball and we are heading over to my place for a sleep over with the little boy.
"I still can't believe you got Maddog to listen to you." Toru compliments. "It was hot seeing you angry." He whispers in my ear before biting my lobe and I nudge him with my hip.
"You little perv." I giggle as we continue walking. "Takeru, how do you feel about pizza for dinner?" I ask and Takeru nods excitedly.
"Yes please! Can we get extra cheese too?" He questions and I quirk my brow.
"Fine." I smile. Whats an extra few yen. "I'm exited for our training camp." I smile up at Toru who pouts.
"There's gonna be a bunch of pretty college boys." He pouts and I peck his cheek.
"Yup there will be but I will only cheer for you." I smile as Toru's cheeks dust pick before he kisses my forehead. The coaches and I managed to snag a training Camp with a college team a couple of hours away in Fukushima prefecture. We are staying for this weekend then afterwards are the spring prelims.
"Oikawa, Y/N?" Toru and I turn around and see Tobio.
"Oh Hey Tobio." I smile at the boy who smiles back. Toru ushers Takeru back and he takes the little boys hand.
"Don't you 2 have practice?" Tobio ask and I hear Toru chuckle.
"We don't have practice on Mondays." Toru says.
"Y-you guys are skipping!?" Tobio asks shocked and Toru shakes his head.
"Just following the schedule my friend. N/N-chan made it." Toru says pointing at me.
"Why would you skip one day of time?" Tobio asks shocked.
"The boys need some down time themselves. I also don't want them to train their muscles." I say.
"Buh-bye Tobio-chan. I have a day planned with my girlfriend and nephew." Toru says about to drag me off before I pinch his side and glare at him.
"I have a question Oikawa."
"No thank you." he says and I glare at him more.
"OIKAWA IM BEGGING YOU!"
Toru and I Both shriek.
"Fine. What is it?" Toru pouts at me.
"Lets say Iwaizumi wanted you to start sending you sets different in order to um.."
"If you need advice don't use a dumb metaphor."
"Hinata wants to start doing the quick with his eyes open." Tobio lets out with an annoyed tone and Toru and I both tense up. This is a game changer for both Karasuno and our team.
"I think he should go for it. But let me guess. You don't want to do it because you are still the selfish dictator you are. The sets you send up to shrimpy aren't about you. Those sets are about him and if he wants to do something differently you need to follow." Toru explains and I smile to myself. Toru was a Captain towards Tobio. A mentor despite their relationship. Toru still, somewhere has care for Tobio and wants him to succeed.
"Takeru!" My Mom exclaims rushing down the hallway to greet the little boy while Toru and I slip off our shoes. Mom smothers Takeru with kisses on his cheek and lets him go sit on the couch.
"Hey Mom." I smile and give her a hug and she gives Toru a hug after.
"Well you 3 have fun while I have fun with my friends." Mom laughs before leaving the house. I love Mom, she's always there for me so it's nice to let her go out with some friends once every few days. But Dad? He's been out of the picture for a while, only getting a Christmas Card with 10 bucks if I'm lucky.
Toru and I slump onto the couch while Takeru plays with some of the toys he's packed in his bag for the night.
"N/N-chan. What are your plans for once we graduate." Toru asks and I lay my head on his lap and face him.
"I don't know. After I graduate I'd go to college. I was thinking about coaching the volleyball team. Oh or working at the Little Tykes Volleyball Classroom." I say as I play with his fingers. "You?"
"I want to go into volley ball. Hopefully the Japan team so we can stay in one country." Toru laughs and I giggle. "Or maybe coaching the volleyball team. I was thinking about that to actually." Toru says and plays with the ends of my hair. "I also would want babies." He smirks suggestively and I shake my head.
"Nope! We can talk about that later." I laugh.
I know Toru. He wants, more than any job, to be a pro in volleyball. Even if he was offered a job that makes more money then volleyball its still gonna be volleyball. It's his passion.
"Takeru you can sleep on my bed." I smile as I rub a sleepy Takeru's head who is in Toru's arm. We are all already changed into our sleep wear.
"What about you Once-chan?" Takeru asks before yawping and I shake my head.
"Don't worry about me." I smile as Toru lays Takeru on my twin sized bed. I pull the blanket to the boys chin and tuck him in. By the time I finish he's already asleep.
Toru and I lay down on the futon we set up after Toru turns off my lamp. Toru wraps his arm around me and spoons me from behind and I hold his hand.
"Spring Interhighs in a 3 weeks." Toru whispers.
"Are you nervous?" I whisper back and I feel Toru shake his head.
"No. I know we can do it."
"I love you Toru."
"I love you N/N-chan. More than you will ever know." He says softly into my ear before kissing it's shell.
"I really do love you Toru." I whisper. I turn around and burry my face in his chest and he holds me tighter, playing with m hair.
"Go to sleep now love." Toru whispers before he kisses the crown of my head.
