Lost Together

Disclaimer: This small one-shot was inspired by a tweet from @Hailz12343. It was inspired by the bts video of episode 32 where we can see Serkan calling out Eda's name.

This is the tweet:

"Imagine she gets lost. She's freezing. He finds her cause soulmates. It's snowing too hard. He's carrying her. Finds a cabin. Gathers wood. They have to stay the night. The cabin is small. Too small. He plays with her hair. She touches his hand. His fingers. The silence..."

"Eda!"

It had been one hour. One hour that he had been looking for her. One hour that his stress levels were skyrocketing as he searched the whole resort for her with no luck. He should have known that she would have put on a fight when he had all but kidnapped her to the mountain so that they could talk seriously. When had he become so impulsive? She was driving him crazy!

"Eda!" he called again louder this time.

Nighttime was almost there and snow was starting to fall heavily. He needed to find her as soon as possible. He stopped and looked at his surroundings. Where could an angry Eda run to in a mountain resort? Could have she been so stubborn that she left the enclosure of the resort? That was the only option he saw right now so he followed the trail that led to the forest bordering it.

He walked and walked, the trail becoming less passable with each step as his feet got stuck in the snow from time to time. The night had fully fallen now that he was surrounded by pine trees and other winter bushes. He kept on screaming her name and took out his flashlight. He was freezing so he couldn't even imagine how she must be feeling. But for some reason, he could feel that she was close and it gave him strength to continue.

After another ten minutes or so, he called her name again and that's when he thought he heard something. "Eda? Eda can you hear me?"

"B...Burada...," he heard a faint voice further down the trail.

He immediately hurried toward the voice as best as he could. Then he finally saw a form on the ground and ran to it. His breath caught in his throat as he saw her. She was lying on the ground, curved into a ball shivering. Her eyes were closed and her purple lips quivered from the cold. He squatted down to her level and brushed her hair from her face.

"Eda... Eda can you hear me?"

"Ss...Sss...Ser...kan?" She opened her eyes to look at him.

"Evet, Eda. I'm here."

"I'm sss...so... cold..."

"Don't worry. I'm here now. I'll bring you back to the resort."

He saw her nod ever so slightly as she closed her eyes again. He helped her sit up then asked her to put an arm around his neck. He lifted her in his arms and she immediately buried her face in his chest, looking for warmth. Once he had secured her in his arms, he started walking back.

Unfortunately, after a few steps, he realized that the trail had all but disappeared under the heavy snow falling continuously and his own footprints were nowhere to be seen either. He stopped to think a little. It was snowing too much and they were too far from the hotel. He didn't check but he was sure that his phone was off grid as well.

At that moment, Eda shivered in his arms and he looked down at her. Her skin was almost white now as her temperature kept on dropping considerably. Who knew how long she had been lying there in the snow! He needed to find a solution. Once thing was sure, he had to keep moving so that's what he did.
