"Not again!"I exclaimed. I heard sirens again. They wailed and cried, flashing red and blue.

"We will get there before they catch us," my dad said. We kept driving through the streets of New York. Eventually he slowed down and said,"Run to that field and don't stop until you are there."

I leaped out of the car, grabbed my suitcase, and said,"Bye dad." I ran straight to the field. The scene changed and no longer was a field. It turned into a camp. I turned around to see my dad being arrested. Oh, they blamed him for a fireball that came out of nowhere? He did nothing! I fell down and felt like I'd just been hit with a dodgeball flying fifty miles an hour. Black spots danced in my eyes. Then I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in a hospital-like room. A boy about my age, fourteen or fifteen, was standing by my bed. He had beautiful blonde hair, icy blue eyes, and was.... HOT!

"Hi, I'm Aaron Ford," he told me." You were passed out for two days."

"I guess I was. Oh, and my name is Avalon. Avalon Rose," I said.

"Why is your hair blue?" He asked.

I sighed,"It's pale blue, and because I dye it."

"Interesting," he changed the subject,"It's six 0'clock, we should go to dinner know," a bell rang in the distance.

"Uh, ok," I said,"So what is this place?"

He told me it was Camp Half-Blood. Apparently I'm a demigod, and the gods and goddesses from Greek mythology are real. So are monsters. My life just got worst.

The food at the dining pavilion was amazing. They had anything you could think of! Name it, they have it. I got a grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. Yum! I sat with Aaron and the Apollo kids."Do you think I will be a child of Apollo?" I asked.

"Well, was your dad or mom your real parent?" He asked.

"My dad," I replied.

"So no," he answered the question.

"Ok then," I said.

"We should go to the Campfire singalong," Aaron said,"You'll most likely be claimed."

The camp fire's fire was mood sensitive an immortal. I sat with the Apollo kids again.

I really like Aaron. He was sweet, funny, nice to me... I just really like him. True love and first sight? Maybe, just maybe.

Right after we started singing, a multi colored fog rose from the ground. It rose up around me and when it faded away, I was wearing beautiful white Greek dress. My hair was up on top of my head and some was flowing down my back. There were a few crystals and olive branches.

"Wow, you're beau- a daughter of Hecate!" Aaron exclaimed.

I said,"I guess I am."
