Ding! The breakfast bell rang when we entered the pavilion. We walked over to the buffet of food. That day, I guess I was a bit of a hog. I got one strip of bacon, one sausage link, some really good scrambled eggs, three pumpkin pancakes, and a packet of syrup to put on my pancakes. I smelled my plate and felt rich. That was the best breakfast buffet in the world (except for that one in that hotel that one time... best ever omelets)!

All of us Hecates sat at a table near the Apollos. Aaron was walking over to his table with a plate of food and saw me. "Hi Avalon, can I sit here?"

The girls started making kissing noises and ooos! and giggles.

"Sure." We all ate together and told jokes and talked about what was popular at the moment. Soon everyone was done and it was only me and Aaron. "Where will I go?" I asked.

"Well, see that house over there?" He pointed to a large three story house with an old blue paint job and a wrap around porch. "Find Chiron. Ask for your schedule."

"Ok thanks!" I dumped my trash in the trash bin and placed my plate down in the dirty-plate-stack. I started down to the house.

When I got there there was a half-man half-horse guy standing on the porch.

"Um, horse dude, I'm looking for a guy name Chiron. I need my schedule."

"I'm a centaur, not a horse dude, and I'm Chiron. You must be Avalon. Here is your schedule." He said kindly.

"Um... thanks."

I looked at my schedule: first class, Controlling the Mist. From 6:30-7:00.

Luna was the teacher of that class, apparently. She calls the classmates "Misterites" a word she came up with. She the best Misterite, so that's why Chiron chose her as the teacher.

I looked around. All of my half-siblings were here along with some others.

"Welcome class. We have a new camper with us, Avalon," she announced.

I suddenly felt embarrassed and smiled shyly and held up my hand and waved.
"Hello."

"Today we will learn to manipulate the mist around us and become invisible," Luna announced,"It may be very helpful in the future."

"Hold out your hand like usual, concentrate on the air around you. Become invisible." She continued.

Everyone did as we were told. This time there was no fog. It was more like the air around us was folding in to cover us in air. Soon everyone was invisible. Time went by fast in this class. We all changed back.

"Class dismissed," Luna said.
