Chapter 6: It's the Dark Lord's

Hadrian listened as the prefect explained everything they needed to know about the Slytherin house. From the way things are done here, the rules and most especially the Hierarchy.

"There are few things you need to learn. First is Slytherin does not betray each other at any cost, if you saw someone did something wrong, you need to keep silent. Second, we don't tolerate betrayal and spies here. You can find your friends and true family in Slytherin as long as you comply with the rules set by formers and the Rulers. Third, if you wanted to do something stupid make sure that no one knows you did it. Do not put the Slytherin's name to shame. You also need to know about the Hierarchy here, the King and Queen are the one who is incharge on Slytherin. Much even higher than the Head of the house himself. Next is the Prince and Princess, they hold respect and can give punishment to those worthy. Then comes the High Noble, Low Noble, Knights and Guards. There is also a Court, though that does not happen since the Dark Lord's era. Then the lowest rank that the King can give is the Slaves, from the name itself, you already know what happened to those named one. Now, on your right is the girl dormitories. Each floor is taken by year, for the second floor, we have the first years and so. On your left is the boy's it is the same as the girls. Each room shall be shared by four students, your belongings are also there."

Hadrian looked around and saw the stairs the prefects talked about. Hadrian thought about the Hierarchy, they will have to fight everyone to become a member. The first years were taken into battle with those in ranks and would be replaced if defeated. Hadrian can not wait for the duel to start.

"If you have any questions we are always here to help you, just remember our name and approach us if so. Also, our Head of the House will say a few words for all of you." The perfect stepped aside and Snape walked in front.

"I am Severus Snape, your Head of the House until your seventh year. I will also be your Potion teacher so I expect you all to behave yourself whilst you're in this House. Slytherins do not tolerate betrayal, so if you're just here to betray us, then kindly get your self resorted immediately. Our House will be seen as evil and a disgrace but never let their words hunt you down. Prove yourself worthy of being a Slytherin. As the Prefects explained earlier, Slytherin always has each other's back. You might encounter some problems while you're in Hogwarts, bullying is common especially if you are in Slytherin. Now, let's start the duel shall we?" Snape said. The first years nodded, some were nervous and scared.

Hadrian watched as they battled until it was time for his turn. They were first dueled by the Guards before proceeding on the higher positions. They managed to defeat the first years easily but lost on some pureblood's Heirs who were privately tutored before going to Hogwarts. The duel lasted for hours until it was Draco and Hadrian fighting each other. They were now fighting over the Prince title and Hadrian was so excited. They faced each other and bowed. Draco shot the first spell and Hadrian avoided it. Draco kept on shooting as Hadrian avoided it all. From Bombarda, Cantis, Tarantallegra and Confringo. Hadrian conjured a Protego. Snape already performed a charm to prevent the others from being hit by a spell. And Onyx was safely tucked under his robes, asleep.

"Come on Harry, scared aren't you? Fight me!" Draco shouted as Hadrian only avoided his spells rather than fighting him. Hadrian laughed, Draco was starting to get irritated at his stunt.

Hadrian smirked and lowered his shield. As he did so, he shot a silent Tripping jinx on his cousin. Draco didn't see that coming so he wasn't able to avoid it. As Draco was on his arse, Hadrian shot an Expelliarmus and catched Draco's wand. Hadrian walked towards his cousin and gave him his wand. He offered his hands and helped him up. Draco grinned as he stood up, he was a High Noble while Hadrian was the Prince. They left the platform as the Prefects announced the new Hierarchy.
