-Ezra's POV-
I asked Sabine out on another date for her birthday and she said yes. I walked on the sidewalk with a smile on my face. The sky was blue, birds were singing; cars were in traffic like always so I'd rather walk to the school. When I walked on the campus, I saw some groups of students talking and trying to get to their classes. As I went to my class, I saw Zeb talking with Ketsu. I guess they were getting more closer than I thought. I also saw Rey talking to Finn.
"Damn, where's my birthday girl at? I want to talk to her now." I muttered and as I said that, Sabine sat right next to me.
"Hey, Ezzy, where are we going tonight?" Sabine said as I kissed her cheek.
"It's a surprise, sweetie. Also, happy birthday." I replied, as Sabine thought of the word "sweetie".
"Thanks but sweetie? You never called me that." Sabine said surprised.
"I called you it now." I said as class started. "I'll give you a little hint about where we're going tonight."
"Ok, what's the hint?" Sabine whispered.
"It's a place under the stars." I whispered as she thought about what I was talking about.
"Is it on the roof of a building?" Sabine asked, as I nodded.
"Which building, though?" I asked.
"I don't know, to be honest." Sabine said.
"That's why it's a surprise. It'll be great." I said.
"Okay." Sabine said as she sounded like she was unsure. I can tell she was nervous about what I'll be doing for her but she doesn't have to worry, I'll make sure she'll have a good time.
-A Few Hours Later/Sabine's POV-
To be honest, I was kind of nervous. I was very worried about what Ezra would do. I mean, I trust him but stuff like this kinda makes me nervous. I looked around for my friends for a distraction. As I looked around, I saw Leia talking with Luke.
I remembered that New Year's party at my house. I can't believe she likes Ezra. I wonder if she got over that crush now. Somebody tapped on my shoulder and as I turned around, I saw that it was Torra.
"Hey, Sabine. What are you doing for your b-day?" Torra asked.
"My boyfriend is preparing this date for me." I said.
"What kind of date is Ezra tryna do?" Torra asked.
"He said it was a surprise." I said as Torra nodded in understanding.
"A surprise, eh? I remember Kaz did the same for me. I think I know what Ezra is trying to do." Torra said.
"Wait, what is he doing?" I asked.
