||Chapter XXIX: The School Prom||

-Ezra's POV-

Prom is such a magical time for you and your significant other. I planned a special way to ask Sabine to the Prom and boy, would it be awesome. I told Finn and Zeb, which they told Sabine's friends. After everything was starting to come into motion, me and Sabine were going out on a date.

We gone to Central Park and had a picnic there. I was kind of nervous to ask her. What if I messed this up and she didn't want to go with me. Okay, first of all, stop thinking like that, Ezra. Second of all, what if Sabine's been waiting for you to ask her to prom all day. Maybe? Maybe not?

Sabine was talking to one of her friends on her phone so when she was out of sight and hearing, I called Finn for some advice.

"Yo, what's up?" Finn said on his side.

"Hey dude. You got any advice?" I asked.

"For?" He asked.

"For you know.....the prom thing." I whispered into the phone.

"Bro, why are you whispering into the phone? Sabine's not beside you, is she?" My friend asked.

"Nah, she isn't." I replied.

There was silence until Finn bursts out laughing. I wondered if he was going to bust a gut or not.

"I'm so sorry but that was funny. Just ask Sabine to go with you and go with the flow." He told me. Why does it feel like he waved his hand?

"Did I tell you that about Rey? Have you even asked her to prom yet?" I asked.

"Chill, dude. I already got this in the bag. We're just sitting down in the living room watching Titanic." Finn said.

"Hey, Ez!" Rey said.

"Hi, Rey." I chuckled. "Anyways, how did you ask her to prom?"

"I paid someone to do some skywriting." Finn answered.

"Who did the skywriting?" I asked.

"I had a little help from Lando. After all, he is a pilot." Finn said, as I couldn't help but agree.

I hung up the phone and took a deep breath. I was ready to take his advice. Well, my own advice but anyways, Sabine came back to me and we continued our date in the park. I was nervous but kind of confident to ask her. To be honest, I just wanted to get this over with.

-A Few Hours Later-

Me, my friends, and everyone else were preparing while Ketsu and Leia were distracting Sabine. We just needed one more thing and that was for my poster to drop down. Finn and Zeb would have that job. I hope Ketsu and Leia would keep Sabine occupied so that we can hang the poster up, though. I don't want to mess this up.

We eventually hung up the poster and we were all set. Someone told me that Sabine, Ketsu, and Leia were here so I got prepared to ask Sabine. Oh my god, I'm so damn nervous!
