When you and Jungkook are back in your apartment, everything is silent. All you can hear is the rustling of the plastic bags that have 'thank you' printed on one side. In them is all the clothes you just bought for Jungkook.

You don't really think much about them as you head straight to your bedroom and place the bags on top of your bed. You don't even realize that Jungkook has followed you as you are so lost in thought, criticizing yourself for not being more careful while you slept.

You wish you knew that it would all come back and bite you in the ass.

Is this Karma's way of telling you that you needed to be more innocent minded? If it is, it's a sick joke as you can't physically enjoy Jungkook. Not like how you would in your dream. Damn, if only he didn't come to life. Things would be so much easier.

Then again, even if it all is some weird twisted fate, you have to admit that having him around and not just while you slept, sounds like a dream come true.

"Um, so we're sharing your dresser?" Jungkook's question pulls you out of your thoughts. That's when you feel the fabric in your hands. You look down and realize you're putting the cream sweater you just bought him in the second drawer along with your own shirts.

Shit. You need to get it together.

You're about to throw the item back on the bed until you come to a horrible conclusion.

You have nowhere else to put his clothes. The closet is full with coatwear, shoes, and holiday decorations, leaving your light-wooden dresser the only option.

He would have to come into your bedroom to get clothes for each and every day. You didn't know his sleep schedule. Hell, it hasn't even been 24 hours since he just suddenly showed up.

What if he woke up before you did and came into your room while you were still sleeping? Sure, he may not do anything to you, but that didn't change the fact that you only slept in your underwear. You never had to worry about it before because you lived alone.

But now? You have some handsome guy that doesn't know any better living with you.

Why does the world hate you so much?

You have to take a deep breath and remind yourself that this is your apartment.

You know now that you're going to have to set some boundaries, lay it all out for Jungkook about the dos and don'ts of what is acceptable behavior. The sooner you told him, the less anxious you would feel about it.

Stuffing the sweater into the drawer, you turn around, closing it with the push of your hip, and face Jungkook with a determined stare. He looks at you quizzically, his thin lips pursed and begging for an answer.

"Okay," you start, brushing past him and into the living room. You don't have to look behind you to know Jungkook is right at your heels.

"Sit." You motion to the couch. The firmness in your tone makes Jungkook comply without any further questions. If that's any implication, then following the house rules shouldn't be too much for him.

"I realize how unprepared for this I am. I mean- how was I supposed to know you just show up here? All perfect and very much real." You're pacing in front of him, gaze frantic but you still catch the slight smirk on his lips at the word 'perfect'.

Oh, so he does have flaw? He has an ego.

You continue to ramble. "It hasnt been a day yet, but we obviously need some form of partnership that respects our space and privacy. Mine mostly," you add with a quirk of your head.

"First rule," pausing, you think it best to get a pen and paper, quickly making a short trip to your studio. "No touching my food."

You write it down. You're about to leave it at that only to remember that you're going to have to start sharing things with Jungkook.

Ah, damn. That's going to be difficult. You hate sharing food, but you scratch it out with a shake of your head.

"Nevermind. The first rule is," you trail off, thinking of what would be the upmost important boundary to have. "Always knock on my bedroom door before you come in. Gives me enough time to be...presentable and minimize awkward scenarios."

You briefly think back to when you first found him. Your cheeks redden at the thought but you flick it aside.

"For the second rule, we'll have a shower schedule. You can take one in the morning, so when I take one at night, the water will still be warm." Plus, if he bathed then, you would be least tempted to have a repeat of your dream as you would likely still be asleep. At least, that's the plan.

"Third, I will be teaching you how to take care of yourself. Cooking, cleaning, and whatnot. If you're going to be living here, then you have to help tidy the place. It's only fair." Another rule written.

"As for the fourth, as much as it pains me to say this, no secrets." You're about to pen it down when Jungkook raises his hand to get your attention. Cute.

He clears his throat. "Uh, then I have something to tell you."

You sigh. "What is it?"

"I wasn't the only one here when I suddenly appeared."

At the confession, the pen in your hand lands on the coffee table. You blink at him. "W-what?"

"The elderly woman said not to tell you, but as your dream man, I feel I must follow your laws."

You almost forget the first part of his sentence when he ends with 'laws'. Well, at least he's taking the whole agreement seriously, even if he didn't really agree on it. You choose to not think about what he referred to himself as. Nope. You didn't need your stomach to flutter more than necessary.

"What elderly woman? What did she say?" You unceremoniously glance over your shoulder, wary that said woman might still be somewhere lurking in your apartment, but you sure as hell hope not.

"Nothing really." Jungkook just shrugs his shoulders, as if it's a normal occurrence. Of course he would think that. He wasn't tangible up until about a few hours ago. "Said that she's giving me a second chance. Then she smiled and disappeared."

There's too many things in his statement that you want to pick apart, but you honestly don't have the brain power to interrogate him. You need a break, to rest. This whole thing is draining more out of you, depleting all the energy you had when you woke up that afternoon. Not even the twelve hours of sleep you got are helping. All you can muster is a sharp exhale before you force yourself stand.

"Okay."

Jungkook peers up at you. His eyes glint in wonder, probably curious as to why you're not berating him for answers. You don't give him the chance to butt in.

You can't handle anymore information for one day, so you walk to your bedroom door, throw yourself on your bed, pushing the other shopping bags with Jungkook's remaining clothes onto the floor, and pray for sleep to come.

With luck, you knock out in little time. A world record.
