Sunrie Tioram, is 20years old girl and the protagonist of the novel who fought for survival in the submerged island, in the Cassidy International airport, in the refugee camps, even when she lost her parents she didn't lose her hope.
Her Parents: they had been separated from their only daughter Sunrie while all of the residents were separately grouped to be got into the flight during the government started emigrating.
Jack Giordano: He's the true love of Sunrie but in between of their intimacy he had forced to join the militant groups of the host land where he too was the refugee from the same group of Sunrie .
Tianjin: he's the second man with whom Sunrie got herself close and he was her best friend too. When Jack went away, and she didn't even find her parents, then Tianjin was the only man who gave her new hope to research her parents going out in another Refugee camps. But at the end Tianjin was beheaded by the guard of that camp. He also made her possible in getting her parents and indirectly her true love Jack sacrificing his own life.
