Just as a huge bunch of people rushed to the bean bags where Cris and I sat, she threw her head back onto the bean bag she was seated on, adorably.
"Great." She muttered.I chuckled. "Not fond of party games, are you?"
"I'll rephrase that for you. Not fond of people, am I? No, I'm not." She said as she looked back at me, then the crowd settled on the bean bags.
I let out a chuckle in response. This was an amusing fact, though it would be clear to anybody who knew Cris, that she was a tiny bit of a misanthrope. Or maybe just a wannabe recluse?
"Alright, sweeties. The game we'll be playing is 'No Moans'." Jade said, standing.
I heard Cris let out a small, annoyed huff beside me. That girl.
I leaned back in my seat with a smirk, knowing where this was going. The crowd let out small cheers. Jade spoke again. "For those unbeknownst to the instructions, chill. I'll be announcing 'em. Basically," She began, pointing to two glass bowls filled with chits she had arranged to bring. "I'll be picking up a chit from the first bowl, and I'll read a name from it, say, Ajay." She pointed to the guy, who just smiled.
"Next, Imma take a chit from the second bowl, and on reading the written name, I call the person up to Ajay, say, Sally." She pointed to the orange haired girl, who I knew was the narrator from the play- and Cris's friend. Sally grinned.
"And basically, Sally's gotta find some way to make Ajay moan, and if he does, she wins, vice versa!" Ajay and Sally widened their eyes. The crowd cheered some more.
I stole a glance at Cris who was secretly, coolly glaring at her friend. After all, I knew Cris isn't the type who prefers these games.
I suppressed a huge grin."Alright, first up are," Jade said picking up a chit from each bowl after a girl had shaken it for her.
"Zoe and Carter."While the girl seemingly suppressed a giggle, the said guy was at a crossroads. Then, a wide grin overtook his face as he suddenly started telling us the worst jokes to ever be thought of, and by the fourth joke, Zoe tilted her head back and let out a half groan-half laugh. People pointed to her dramatically while laughing, and Zoe buried her face in her hands.
"Next up... me!" Jade cheered. "...And, uh, Ellis?"
Ellis widened her eyes, letting out a gasp. Unfortunately for her, a bunch of guys had taken a seat next to me and on my other side, thankfully, it was Cris, who suppressed a smirk.Did I mention how fucking hot Cris looked? More than ever before?
So much so that even the other guys, infuriatingly enough, openly stared at her long legs, but she was just as oblivious as always?
I honestly wanted to twist every gazer's neck the opposite way.Damn this girl.
"Are you kidding me right now? 'The fuck am I supposed to do?" Ellis spat, suppressing a humored smirk herself. I rolled my eyes internally and smirked.
"Ugh. Dunno. Make me moan or I get an easy win."
Ellis gazed heavenwards. "Sweet jeez. Can I use the same techniques as Carter?"
The crowd made a disapproving noise. Jade added, "No way!"
Ellis made a face. "Y'know what? Imma give you an account of my horror story with this hot jock I knew. It's sure to make you moan in cuteness of the story." She said, simpering sarcastically.
A few exasperated sighs were emitted from the crowd. Jade gaped. "Seriously? I am dead. So dead." She muttered the last part, though muttered it loudly.
Ellis rolled her eyes.
