Simone's P.O.V.

Chase and I entered his condo, and just as I came in, I caught sight of Elaine sitting on the L-shaped black couch, her outfit being a mix between elegant and edgy- she wore a simple, long black skirt of satin that touched her ankles. Above that she'd donned on a white spaghetti-strapped crop top that contrasted elegantly with the amount of black she was wearing. A long black overcoat of faux fur was draped over her shoulders.

Her contour makeup was slightly heavy, black themed and contrasted with her sapphire eyes. Her long raven hair was in an half updo- the sort that looked amazing with long, wavy hair.
She wore the same numerous silver rings she wore yesterday on her chubby and rather small fingers, and they looked quite attractive. She'd worn a pair of silver drop earrings to go with them; and a black choker was on her neck. She wore light black hosiery and black suede boots. She held a white sequined clutch in one hand.

With all of the accessories and the winter-friendly outfit that looked amazing on her triangular-shaped body, she looked like a model, I swear. As if she'd stand up and start a goddamned ramp walk any minute.
Goddamn these Walker siblings and their perfect looks.

Beside Elaine sat a girl who seemed the same age as her- sixteen.
She was tall and slim, and her plum-dyed tresses were straight, and styled in a long, layered bob. Her soft, light brown skin tone looked quite attractive with her outfit. The color of her hair contrasted heavily with all the white she wore- a white pair of slim-fit jeans, a white, long-sleeved button up shirt which she'd left untucked and the two sleeves of a white cable knit sweater hung from her shoulders and was tied together at the ends. She had russet brown eyes, which shone almost golden under the luxurious, warm-themed lighting that Chase probably used for the afternoons. She wore a pair of violet-hued Doc Martens, which matched with her hair.
Heavens, that makes two adorable models.

Also, I must look like a librarian among these models.

On the armchair of the black sofa set, sat a middle-aged woman in a flowy white dress with floral designs. She had toffee-hued tresses, with a few streaks of silver poking through. She was short and plump and had a warm, motherly smile as she spoke to the two young girls sitting in front of her. Her warm grey eyes sparkled as she talked to them.

The three of them turned their heads to look at us, and Elaine grinned in delight, stood up and jogged over to me, pulling me into one of her bear hugs.
Okay, I'm not a person who gets too touchy when her personal bubble is broken, but she really needed to stop doing that hug-thing. Why would one hug a person they met just the day before?
Or maybe this was just how she was, and I wasn't familiar to such exuberance in any of my usual acquaintances anyway. Chill, Cris.

I heard Chase stifle a laugh, and it took me a lot of self control not to shove the guy into the electric fireplace, which was fitted into the front wall of the living room.

I offered her a polite but open smile. "Hey Elaine. How are you?"

"I'm awesome! And you can call me El, remember. You?"

"I'm good." I said, and nodded in response to her sobriquet offer. My smile shrunk, but stayed.

She stepped sideways to let me see the two people sitting in the sofa. They both stood up.

As the young girl was closer to her, Elaine introduced her first. "Cris, this is Leah, my best friend."

I gave her a little wave. "Hey." She waved back with a graceful movement of her fingers, a shy smile on her face. Adorable.

"Hey, Leah. Have you guys already messed up my condo or is it still close to looking like a human settlement?" Chase said affably, and he held the sort of tone as if he'd met Leah many times before.
