It has been a month since the rebellion was over and Mikhail informed be that Sanct Sybil will be hosting a ball. I was to go to get a dress in the city with Prince Ivan. I got ready and went to the front of the fortress. Prince Ivan was already there waiting for me. We drove to the city and went inside a dress shop.

The dresses on display were beautiful. They were embroidered very well. A man came out from the back of the shop through the curtains. I could see a woman and a little girl working. "Hello Your highness. How my I help you?" he asked. "My fiancee needs a dress," he said. The man looked at me. "Ah yes. Come this way my lady," he said. I followed him to a tall mirror. He picked out a few dresses for me.

After an hour, I picked a maroon dress. The man went to get something. Prince Ivan stood where he was. "I saw a woman and a girl working," I said. "What?" he said. The man came out with my dress packed neatly. "Are you have women work here?" Prince Ivan asked the man. The man explained to Prince Ivan that they were his wife and daughter. They come help with the embroidery.

I knew that woman were not allowed to work in the kingdom. Prince Ivan told the man to not let them work for him again. The man understood. We left the shop with the dress paid. I didn't know what think about.

We got to the fortress. I held my bag and went into my room to get ready for the ball. Lady in waitings came and did my make up. After two hours, I was ready. I walked out of the room to see Prince Ivan making his way to my room. He gave me his arm and I accepted it. We walked together inside the ball room. There were many people.

We walked to person to person. Prince Ivan would greet them and I did as well. They would talk about politics and world issues. I stood next to him the whole time. Music came on. " May I have this dance?" he asked. He offered me his hand. "Yes you may," I said. I took his hand and we walked to the center of the room. We danced in grace.

I felt my heart beat as I looked into his eyes. {I wonder if he has any feelings for me.} More people started to join us dance. We danced to the end and everyone clapped. He took my hand in his hand. He took out a box out of his pants. He revealed a ring inside. He took the ring and slipped it on my finger. "Everyone, we are engaged," he announced to everyone. {What!} I was shocked. He lifted my hand up to show everyone the ring on my finger.

Everyone clapped and congratulate us. I was so shocked and confused. I recognized Prince Hayden, Kuon, Sieg, and Oliver coming towards us. They congratulate us. All I could do was give a weak smile. I didn't know how to respond.

After the ball, I went straight to my room. I changed my clothes and went to bed.
