We were walking around the fortress. The weather was nice. The sun was out. We held each other's hand.
"I have something to give you," I said. He looked at me. "What is it?" he asked. I took out a box from my pocket. I opened the box to reveal the pendant inside. He ws shocked. "This was the pendant that I gave to a little girl twenty years ago," he said. I saw him thinking. He made the connection. "It was you," he said. "Yes, that little girl was me. I held this pendant since that day," I said. He gave me a smile.
"You know what the legend of the pendant is?," he asked. "No I don't," I said. "The legend said that when a royal prince gives this to a girl who they like, they would reunite one day and fall in love," he said. I smiled. "I guess in a way, we were meant to be," I said. He nodded his head with a smile.
He came close to me. He caress my cheek with his hand. "I am glad that you will be mine," he said. I smiled and we kissed.
