Ivan got off his horse and pet both his wolves. The wolves calmed down. Ivan saw the princes and I. He made his way toward us. "Sorry that I was late," he said to the princes. "What happened?" Prince Hayden said.

Ivan told us that he drove off a cliff when he was being chased by my captors. He was in bad shape. Luckily, a farmer passed by and found him. The farmer nursed him back to health. He heard that he was declared dead and a funeral was set up for him. He decided to return to see his own funeral. All the princes were glad that he was alive.

Ivan saw me. He walked to me and pulled the veil over my head. I looked up into his eyes. He caress my cheek. "I am so sorry," he said. I shook my head. "Its ok," I said with tears coming down my eyes. He kissed me on the lips and I kissed back. It was passionate and longing. It has been so long since I seen him. I was so worried for him. We broke apart and looked into each other's eyes. "Lets go home," he said. I nodded my head and we walked away from the princes.

A few days later...

Things have been going pretty well. The captors were charged for kidnapping me, attempt murder on Ivan, and treason against the kingdom. The doctor had order Ivan to stay in his bed for recovery. He had severe injuries.

I was in his room caring for him. He complained about staying in the bed for so long. "You need your rest Ivan," I said softly.

He looked at me. "I am restless," he said. "Don't worry. You will be up on no time," I assured him. He gave me a smile. We spent the rest of the day talking and carding for each other.
