Cook out chapter 10

Allie's POV

Last night was amazing It was like a fairytale. Elijah is just perfect and I know once mom comes over tonight she's gonna grill me about it. Haha I don't mind I'm glad she's actually getting a chance to meet him actually talk to him in a good situation instead of a courtroom with her daughter. I can't believe the trial has almost been a month ago I hope Jake is happy with himself because he deserves the worst. Now I'm currently getting things set up outside on the patio, The pool looks promising but not in the middle of winter fuck that shit lol. Once I've got everything outside set up I decide to go ahead and choose the outfit I'm gonna wear for tonight. Mom is coming over about 5 along with everyone else and it's 4:30 PM so once I'm out of the shower I'll text her.

Once I'm out of the shower I blow dry my natural hair, apply some make up then get dressed.

Once I'm Dressed I text my mom and everyone else.

Allie to her mom: Hey Mom ready when you are can't wait to see you! 

Allie to Kelly: Ready Heffer? 

Allie to Elijah: Hi handsome ;) See you soon! 

I laugh to myself about the message I sent Elijah and soon enough my mom arrives.

"Hello momma!" I beam 

she smiles "My beautiful daughter, How are you?"

"Good. How are you?" I ask hugging her she hugs back 

"Doing just fine, Where's Kelly? That heffer" Mom says 

I laugh "You call her that too?"

"Yep it's your fault" She retorts 

"Blah blah blah" I say laughing 

Soon Kelly arrives with James & Calvin then Elijah arrives shortly after them.

"Ladies want us to do the cooking?" James asks 

I scoff "What? You think because we are females we can't cook? I could out cook you any day bitch" 

"It's true I taught her everything she knows" Mom chimes in

"She is very good so I wouldn't push her" Kelly warns 

I look to Elijah who seems amused by this ordeal I chuckle.

"So leave the cooking to us Kelly wanna assist me?" I ask

"You don't need it but sure that way we can gossip" Kelly beams 

I laugh "When do you not wanna gossip about something?"

"when has hell frozen over?" She asks 

"Never that I know of" I say 

"Okay then you answered your own question let's get cooking" She says smiling

Once we have finished everything we set the food out and open the chips, dips, and the drinks. Both regular and Alcoholic. Then everyone sits around the table to eat and talk.

"So Elijah" Mom says 

"Here we go" I say sipping my wine 

Elijah chuckles "Yes ma'am?"

"oh god dear don't please, Just call me Allison" Mom says 

"Okay Allison, What's up?" Elijah asks 

"What are your intentions with my daughter" Mom asks 

"Oh jeez now she's sounding like dad" I whisper to Kelly 

Kelly laughs "You knew this was coming"

"Yeah why else am I grabbing another glass of wine" I say laughing 

"To answer your question Allison I don't have any bad intentions ,When I first met her I knew she was special and I wanted to protect her, cherish her and treat her like the goddess she is" Elijah says smiling 

I blush, Kelly says "Aww", My mom looks shocked.

"Wow Jake didn't even tell me about how he felt about her. I'm really surprised Elijah you seem like a very good man for my daughter but be warned if you hurt her in anyway I will become a hawk and scratch your eyes out got it?" Allison asks 

I chuckle nervously "I'll grab everyone's plate if they are done" 

Elijah nods "Yes I understand, and you have no worries" 

I head to the kitchen to put the dishes in the sink I chuckle to myself then shake my head. I feel strong arms around my waist I giggle turning around to see Elijah.

"Hopefully My mom hasn't terrified you too much?" I ask 

He laughs "Not at all her protectiveness is understandable but I want you to also know I won't hurt you. Your too special for that" 

I smile up to him "I know." I say tracing his tattoos on his left arm 

He tilts his head at my behavior "You okay?"

"Yeah, I just wanna trace your tattoos" I say laughing 

He smiles at my weirdo self "Okay just checking, and you can trace them anytime you wanna"

"awesome, I don't know why but it's oddly soothing" I say still tracing his tattoos 

"Allie?" Kelly asks 

"Hmm?" I ask looking to her

"Oh my bad I was gonna see if you wanted me to put the food away?" Kelly asks

"you are good and see if anyone wants extras if not then go ahead and I'll be out in a sec to help you" I say smiling 

"And Allie we need more wine" Kelly says 

I chuckle "Okay baby? wanna come with me to the wine cellar?"

"Sure." He says smiling 

"How many bottles Kelly?" I ask 

"4" Kelly says 

I laugh as Elijah & I retrieve 4 bottles of wine. As I was going back up Elijah stops me placing the bottles on a near by end table.

"What's wrong?" I ask 

He smiles wrapping his arms around my waist I smile and wrap my arms around his neck.

"Nothing, I just wanted a few mins to tell you how beautiful you look tonight" Elijah says smiling 

I smile "Thank you, handsome"

He smirks moving a hand to my cheek "I also wanted this"

I furrow my brows then feel his lips on mine I giggle into the kiss and kiss back. After a few mins we part and head upstairs with the wine.

"Hey the wine!" Kelly beams putting the bottles on the table 

I chuckle "Did you eat good momma?" I ask

"I did sweetie it was Devine, Did you eat good?" She asks 

"oh yeah now I'm ready to drink some wine, and talk to everyone" I say smiling and grabbing my glass
