Strangers Chapter 41

Allie's POV

I'm currently at Kelly's place while Ariana is in school just talking and drinking a little wine not much because I've still got to drive. 

"So is akward between you and Elijah still after the Divorce?" She asks 

I sigh "kind of we still live in the same house for Ariana's sake and we interact like humans, we've finally gotten past the screaming matches everytime we see each other I was so inlove with him Kelly... What the hell happened?" I ask looking at my outfit

"I know I just can't believe he'd cheat on you, he seemed so different when ya'll first met 5 years ago or so now" She says 

"Yeah I guess people change" I say shrugging 

My phone dings with a new message from Elijah 

I scoff left on read because he knows I'm telling the truth. After finishing my wine I decide to head to the house and run a bubble bath before going to pick up Ariana from school. Once I arrive home I head straight upstairs to my room shutting and locking  the door. I strip out of my clothes and head to my new private bath room and run the water getting some music together on my phone. I decided to listen to my Spotify Playlist entitled "Ariana Grande" I hit play and the first song I hear is "Breathin" I smile to myself and put the bubbles in the water then step in laying back feeling super relaxed. My phone dings once more Luckily I have a water proof case so I grab it and read the message. 

I finish bathing and get dressed.

"Hey Allie?" Elijah asks 

"Yeah?" I ask 

"Did you start re wearing your hair extentions? if so why?" he asks 

"I've been wearing them and because you liked my actual hair and when I see my real hair it hurts still, I got to go get Ariana" I say leaving 

*back home*

"Ariana? what do you want for dinner sweetie?" I ask 

"Chicken Nuggets with Mac N cheese the kid meal thing" She says smiling

"Coming up want some chocolate milk, regular milk or juice?" I ask 

"Chocky milk please" She says smiling 

I smile pouring her some and putting on cartoons for her to watch as she eats. After getting her food I make myself some spaghetti with Garlic bread I'm not feeling much of anything tonight but I keep telling myself be strong for her.

Elijah comes downstairs and makes food himself.

"Hey daddy" Ariana says smiling 

"Hi princess your mom made you nuggets?" He asks

"Yep, the a queen's meal" She says smiling 

I chuckle "Your so silly"

"mommy it is high standards for girls my age" She says flipping her hair

I laugh "alright miss thing, after you eat want me to give you a bath or daddy?" 

"Take a break Allie, I'll do it" Elijah says

"Yeah mommy that's fine" Ariana says smiling

I nod "okay sweetie, after you get out I'll read to you before bed okay?"

"oohh mommy!! Please let it be a princess book!" She beams 

"Princess book it is" I say smiling then heading to my bedroom to change. Soon Ariana is done with her bath and I read to her until she falls asleep. I close the book placing it on her neon pink book shelf then I cover her up kissing her head.

"Good night princess" I say smiling 

"Good night mommy I love you" She says

I smile "I love you too sweetie" 

I leave her room turning her light out and heading to my room. I lay in bed looking on my laptop at old videos and I find one of Elijah & I before everything went to shit. I sigh but click on it anyways.

Allie: What are you doing love?

Elijah: I'm being romantic by picking you a wild flower now I'm gonna place it in your hair

Allie smiling. Allie: Aren't you cute

Elijah picks her up hugging her tightly she hugs back. 

Kelly: You know I was recording this right guys?

Elijah: Good I wanted you too

*end of video*

I half smile and start to tear up I shut the laptop placing on my desk then laying bed watching stuff on my phone until I fall asleep.
