Jake's Old Friend chapter 12

Allie's POV

I woke up and got dressed for school like usual. My look for the day consists of a simple t shirt, oversized hoodie that's black it matches the t shirt, with some black shorts and black thigh high heeled boots. I straighten my natural hair, apply some make up then head off to school.

Once I arrive I get an uneasy feeling I don't understand why until I bump into him

My eyes widen and I freeze in place, Jake's old friend Jackson?! The hell is he doing here?!

"oh hey Allie!" he beams 

I fake chuckle "Uh Jackson, Hey what uh are you umm doing here?" 

"Thought I'd come back and actually try this schooling thing" He says smiling 

{My heart is beating so fast in my chest I can feel in it in my throat. Incase your wondering why Jackson makes me so nervous is because when Jake and I were together he wasn't my biggest fan. He just hated me for no reason even though I treat Jake with respect he just didn't care for me and Always thought I was a gold digger even though I made my own money. I've tried talking to Jake before he became a dick and he always would tell me" oh don't worry about him he's protective of me" Yeah seems like he was a little over protective of you}

I nod swallowing hard trying to get rid of this feeling "Ahh I-I s-see h-hopefully it uh works out for y-you" 

He smiles "Thank you, and Umm for what it's worth I apologize for Jake's behavior towards you"

I'm so shocked {did he actually apologize to me? Who the hell is this guy?} 

"What?" I ask surprised.

"Yeah, I heard what happened and I didn't know he never told me he was doing that whenever I'd casually ask of you he'd say "Oh the bitch she's fine" He says 

I furrow my brows "I'm so confused. You hated me, So why ask about me?"

"Because he was with you and I was trying to change that but apparently it didn't work" He says 

"Ahh, Umm okay?!" I say looking at the ground.

Elijah's POV

I came to Allie and Kelly's college to see Allie for a bit then I see her talking with some guy. She looks nervous. Who is this guy?! Why is she talking to him?! 

I furrow my brows then head over to them putting a protective arm around Allie.

"So yeah that's why I'm back Allie" The man says 

She just nods "Uh yeah that's umm good for you Jackson"

{Jackson?! Who the hell is this?!}

"This your new man?" Jackson asks 

Allie nods repeatedly "Yes he is" She says moving closer to me. I wrap both arms around her. {this guy doesn't sit right with me at all}

"Ah I see." He says 

"Allie? Who's this?" I ask not taking my eyes off this "Jackson" character 

"T-this is one of J-Jake's old f-friends Jackson" She says nervously.

I nod. {Now it makes sense. This prick is one of the douchebag's friends figures as much} 

"It's good too meet you man" Jackson says smiling and holding out his hand.

I nod "Yeah you too I guess" 

He backs his hand away nodding "Well, I'm gonna go" He says leaving.

Allie's POV

I let a huge sigh of relief and hug Elijah tightly. He hugs back kissing my forehead.

"Princess why does he make you so nervous?" Elijah asks 

I sigh and sit on a near by bench, Elijah joins me.

"Because when Jake and I were together he wasn't my biggest fan, He always thought I was a gold digger even though I made my own money he just didn't like me. I'd tell Jake and Obviously He would say it's nothing or he's being protective of Jake but I don't know. I just don't like him" I say sighing.

Elijah nods "I seen you talking to him and you looked nervous so I thought I'd come over" 

I smile "I'm glad you did. He's always made me nervous for some reason"

"I got weird vibes and energy from him as well" Elijah says 

"I seen the way you looked at him and how you didn't shake his hand" I point out 

"He makes my lady nervous I'm not shaking his hand" Elijah says 

I smile at "My lady" and take Elijah's hand in mine. "So what are you doing here?"

"Thought I'd come to see you for a bit" He says smiling 

I smile and place my head on his shoulder "Well I'm glad to see you" 

Kelly approaches us sitting to my left "Hello people!" 

"Hey not even gonna ask why I'm here?" Elijah jokes

"Nope, Your here to see your princess, and I missed my bestie so yeah" Kelly says smiling 

I smile "Missed you too weirdo" 

"So why do you look like you've seen a ghost?" Kelly asks 

"You won't believe who I ran into" I say 

"Who?" She asks 

"Jackson"  I say 

Her eyes widen "What? why is he here?" 

"Claims he is going back to school" I say shrugging 

"hmm whatever he says" She scoffs 

"yeah I just said good for you to him" I say not really caring what he does.

"True" She says nodding
