Exams Week chapter 13

Allie's  POV

This week is exams week. Meaning everyday this week we will be having different exams for our classes consisting of a different exam each day or they could change it where it's two per day they said they were thinking of changing it to that. I've been studying like crazy with Elijah's and Kelly's help, I'm currently studying as we speak on a bench when Kelly approaches. 

"Studying too?" She asks 

"dude I'm so nervous it's not even funny I stayed up all night last night drinking coffees now I could use another one" I say sighing 

Kelly chuckles "Same girl" 

As we are talking a girl comes up to us "Are you Allie?" She asks 

"Yes why?" I ask moving my book 

"Oh this was delivered to the main office for you" She says handing me a coffee with a note and purple ribbon.

I smile and read the note.

"Good Morning beautiful, I know you've been stressing about your exams so I thought I'd get you a Funfetti Cake coffee to help you focus. <3 Good luck baby you've got this <3" -Love Elijah <3 

I smile "Wow must be a new flavor and he's the sweetest" 

Kelly smiles "He really is try it" 

"ooh that is amazing try a sip" I say smiling 

"mmm yummy I'm gonna have to ask him where he got it and make it my new drink" Kelly says smiling 

"No kidding right? I feel amazing and  ready to pass these exams" I say smiling.

After the first exams I'm sat outside by a tree listening to music while studying for tommrow's exam when my phone goes off.

Elijah: Did you get my coffee gift? 

Allie: I did I loved it! Where did you get it? Kelly and I wanna make it our new drink <3

Elijah: I uh I made it from home <3

Allie: really? It was fantastic, I don't think I've ever been so focused in my life 

Elijah: I'm glad I made it with a protein boost that I read usually helps with studying and stress <3 

Allie: Aww you are the best <3 Thank you so much!

Elijah: No problem did you see the note?

Allie: I did. It was sweet <3 

Elijah: You seen where I said Love elijah?

Allie: I did.

Elijah: I'm glad I'll see you later okay?

Allie: oh okay... later 

I furrow my brows "That was weird"

"what was?" Kelly asks out of nowhere 

I jump slightly "Oh hey, just talking to Elijah he asked if I seen his "Love, ELijah" on the note" 

"Allie you think that could be his way of saying he loves you?" She asks 

I furrow my brows "Isn't it to soon?"

"No, of course not why would it be?" She asks 

"I just thought it would be I mean it's only been a month since we started dating" I say smiling 

"No not at all when you love someone time means nothing" Kelly says smiling 

"Do you think I hurt him?" I ask 

"mmm no I think he's backing up a bit to give you your space to think about it" Kelly says 

"oh" I simply say 

"honey guys are weird don't think to much into it I'm sure it will work out just tell him only if you love him too or if your not there yet just say so" Kelly says 

"I'm gonna go see him I have a free period so I'll be back soon" I say leaving

I head into Elijah's office and Ella tries to tell me it's not a good time but I go in anyways because I can't focus unless I talk to him. 

"Look Elijah I'm sorry I didn't say it back I just-" I stop myself when I see who I think is Elijah's mom and a business client. 

Elijah has his arms crossed and his mom is smirking. 

"Oh wow I'm sorry I'll go" I say shutting the door.

*Back at school*

"So how did it go?" Kelly asks 

I sit down in my a seat throwing my hood over my head slamming my books on the desk.

"Okay what happened?" She asks sitting next to me

"I made a complete idiot of myself" I say crossing my arms 

"What do you mean?" She asks 

"I walked into his office and seen his mom and a business client the look he gave me Kelly I've never seen it before I think I messed this up before it began" I say laying my head on my desk.

*Elijah's office*

"So Mr. Green  do you still wanna do this deal?" Elijah asks 

"I don't see why we wouldn't who was that girl?" Mr. Green asks 

"Oh I'm so sorry sir she's a girl I'm seeing" Elijah says 

"Ah I'm surprised she didn't knock first" Mr. Green says 

"Yeah I'm sorry sir" Elijah says smiling 

"Well, I'll get the contract over here tommrow and we can get it signed. Looking forward to working with you Mr. Gold" Mr. Green says holding out his hand.

Elijah smiles "Thank you sir Looking forward to it" Elijah says shaking his hand

Mr. Green leaves and Elijah's mom begins talking.

"wow some girl if she thinks she can just walk into your office" Veronica says 

"Mother don't you have a business man to fuck?" Elijah asks 

"Very funny, but I'm just saying" His mom says 

"Mother I won't hear this from you so you may leave or have security esscourt you out" Elijah says 

"Fine, but don't let her interfere with your work is all I'm saying son" His mom says leaving.

After school Kelly went to her place and I went to mine. I took a quick shower before laying in bed and watching super natural on netflix. 

As I'm watching I run through the events in of today I sigh loudly and check my phone for texts messages.

*No new messages*

*No new voicemails*

*No missed calls*

I nod and sigh placing my phone on the charger and trying to get back into the show. After a while I feel myself drifting off to sleep. I turn the tv off, placing my remote on under the tv then going to sleep.
