Waiting 16 years for my first kiss was worth the wait! People say that sparks fly when they kiss. Well the fireworks warehouse caught fire!

We left the slide 2 hours later when we heard Kaiya calling ournames.

"Yeah Kaiya?" I blinked harshly at the sun's brightness.

"You too look rather happy." She winked at me and I mouthed 'thank you' as I walked by her. She giggled as she jumped up and down.

"So what are we going to do now?"

"Well I was thinking about maybe ice cream or frozen yogurt?"

"Definitely ice cream!" Andy and I both yelled simultaneously.

Apparently in our small-ish town, Applebury, there was once ice cream parlor, Stone Cold Creamery. It also wasn't too far from the park, which I found convenient.

Andy and I weren't walking beside each other. The guys walked together, laughing and cutting up. Us girls stood talking about the boys behind us...

"So did Andy and you talk?" Macin asked sheepishly.

I blushed, first time ever. "Yeah...and more."

"Oh my lord! Baby Jesus! What happened?"

"Well we kissed!" I grinned, feeling all tingly inside.

They all grinned at me. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. They laughed and continued talking about their love lives. I let my mind wander to Andy. He was gorgeous. Those blue-green eyes always had a smile in them. The way his black hair made the blue in his eyes pop. His height was the cutest thing in the entire-

"Woah! Watch out!" Before I had time to react to what Darimae said, I ran into a pole.

I quietly cursed myself as I lie flat on my back. It was hard for me to see, but as my vision cleared, I looked up into the caring blue-green eyes of Andy.

"Ow." Andy looked so concerned.

"Are you okay? Is there anything seriously hurt?" Andy said without taking a breath.

"My head...kind of hurts..."

"Well you might have a black eye...and a cut on your forehead," Kaiya said.

"What?! Lemme see!" I yelled.

Ariella pulled out a mirror and handed it to me. I took it a stopped.

"Oh my...I look like a freak!"

"No you looked like a freak before..." Kaiya giggled. "No. I joke! I kid! You actually look really cool, like you got into a fight!"

I laughed, that was Kaiya for you, always finding good in a situation.

Andy helped me stand up, and he now had an excuse to keep his arm around me. Everyone made sure I was okay and then they walked ahead and allowed us alone time.

"You look beautiful to me..."

I smiled, even in my current state. He was still sweet.

We walked into the ice cream shop and got our ice cream. We all sat and talked. Then out of nowhere, my phone vibrated and I looked down.

Mom: i need you home now! your father is flipping out!

I whispered in Andy's ear that we had to go.

"Guys I just remembered we have to help cook dinner tonight so we need to go." I glanced at Andy as I talked, he was almost saying nice lie!

Andy and I got up and left, he grabbed my hand when we got outside.

I walked back home in bliss, only to be thrown into a world of torment.
