Hi! Sexy Taylor here! I stole the notebook, so I'm updating for you lovely peoples(: Enjoy!! :D

I shivered and rubbed at my boney arms. Contrary to popular belief, the Underworld, or Hell as some call it, is not hot or firey. It's actually quite chilly, especially for the dead people, since they no longer had body heat.

I assume live humans wouldn't be too cold down here, but thanks to my reaper DNA, I wasn't alive down here. My blood stopped pumping and my skin sank in, giving me a dead look. It wasn't my Reapr Form; I was just a dead person. With a lot of powers. And my eyes darkened from ice blue to pure black.

As I navigated through the corridors of the entry building, the recently deceased watched me in fear. I smiled grimly. Ha, GRIMly. Grim reaper. Oh, I amuse myself sometimes.

Hey! It's the guy I killed a few days ago! And isn't that the poor girl my brother murdered?

Macin and Kaiya must be close.

My goodness, how many people had died in the last few days? There was a never-ending sea of dead people staring at nothing, waiting to be evaluated and sent to wherever they belonged.

See, the world of Dead had three sections. The first was like a paradise, made for those who were good-hearted and genuine. The second was just like real life, except everyone was dead. It was for most people. The only difference between it and real life was that everyone really was equal. Nobody was rich, nobody was poor, nobody was bullied.

Lastly, you had the place for the bad people, such as the guys I killed. This place was horrible. It was what most people imagined Hell to be. Endless torture, no rest, crap like that.

Anyways, back to my search for my friends. You're probably thinking that it should be easy to find people with colored hair. Incorrect.

You see, down her, everything was dulled down, except for eyes. All hair was either a dark gray or black. All clothes were the same. So I had to search for their eyes. Shouldn't be too hard...

Piercing sapphire-colored eyes met mine with a bored look. I smiled in relief. Macin. Next to her stood Kaiya, all color drained from her other than her lighter blue eyes.

"Yes!" I cried out, grabbing their wrists and dragging them with me.

"STOP!" a booming voice bellowed. I turned to see the Gate Keeper, Clarisse. Ugh. She hated me.

As expected, she glared at me once she recognized me with my unusually dark irises. "What do you think you're doing Raven Alyxandria?"

Hm. Should I choose to be sweet or sarcastic? Stupid question.

"Oh you know, just taking a field trip to the zoo." I rolled my eyes and continued to edge towards the portal had come through, firends in tow.

Clarisse "tsk"ed at me, shaking her head. "I wouldn't take them if I were you."

I raised an eyebrow. "Why's that?"

She chuckled humorlessly. "Child, just because we don't get along doesn't mean I don't look out for you. Taking dead people back to Earth is a really bad idea."

"How so?" She had to be messing with me.

"They get too powerful. You wouldn't be able to stop them if they lost control. Have you ever heard of vampir-"

"Oh Clarisse, stop lying to the girl," a familiar voice interrupted. My father. He came! The man in the black robe turned to me. "I did a little, uh, research."

I frowned. "And?"

He sighed. "If you bring them back up, they won't be the same." I stared at him until he continued. "They won't be...human."

I froze. The two girls stood emotionlessly on either side of me. "What do you mean?"

Clarisse butted in. "They'll be vampires, Raven. Like I was saying."

"What?!"

"Clarisse, get back to work!" my father boomed, dragging me out of the gate. I quickly pulled Kaiya and Macin along. We stopped just beside the portal.

"What does she mean 'they'll be vampires'?" I demanded.

My father sighed yet again. "Vampires aren't what you think they are. They don't drink blood and they aren't merciless killers."

"Then what are they?"

"Vampires...they are unbelievably strong. They have extremely quick reflexes. But the sunlight weakens them. It doesn't kill them at first touch, but if they're exposed for a while, they will eventually die."

"So they aren't dangerous?" I asked.

"Well...not to you. But I wouldn't trust them around humans." He grimaced. "It hasn't gone over well in the past."

I nodded. "Alright. See you on the flipside." I dragged my two friends into the portal and up we went.
