Okay i wrote this.:) i hope you guys like it:)

I stared down at him. I stared with such hatred at the guy lying on the ground before me, the guy that I had just killed. The low-life lying before me had just robbed Kay’s jewelry store. I saw the glint of jewels lying beside him in a brown, burlap bag.

All I wanted to do was run, but my father was probably on his way to collect his soul. That’s how it worked in the family business. Except for my mom, she allowed me to live with her; she fed me and clothed me. In the family business, I killed; because I was light and agile and was able to get away fast. Of course my father was the one to come and collect the souls that I killed. There was a stipulation however; I didn’t kill random people. I only killed the bad ones, the ones with a bad soul.

I couldn’t wait on my dad any longer, I turned and I ran. I ran as fast as I could and as far away from the site as I could. When I turned the corner, I ran straight into the arms of someone that I completely didn’t expect in this side of the town.

“Ugh! Hey! Alyxx? Is that you?” I heard the voice of Andy call out.

“Oh, uh, yeah it is me. Hey Andy! What’re you doing on this side of town?” I stuttered out.

“Umm . . . I was just about to ask you that!”

He seemed anxious for some odd reason. I pushed it to the back of my mind as I tried to think of a reason for me being on this side of town, this late; and I thought fast.

“I’m new and I was walking home from school and was trying to go by the supermarket and I just got lost trying to get back home. Now, why are you on the side of town?” Phew. That was a close one.

“I went for a walk, to get some fresh air.” He hesitated, so I pushed farther.

“Well, where do you live? I can walk with you to your house and maybe I can use your phone and get my mom to come pick me up.” Nice one, I thought to myself.

“Well my dad doesn’t like visitors.” He pulled out a quarter. “Here, you can use this at a payphone to call your mom.”

“Andy, we’re friends; if there is anything wrong, you can talk to me.” I said, sympathetically.

“You’ll make fun of me. I know you will.”

“No, Andy, I’m truly concerned about you. Please, tell me.” I put as much force as I could muster, behind my words.

He mumbled something, incoherently; something I could not hear.

               Quietly, I said. “I didn’t hear you . . .”

               “I don’t . . . live anywhere. I don’t have a house.” He mumbled, shyly.

“Oh my gosh! Well, I’ll take you up on your payphone offer, and while I’m on the phone with my mother, I’ll see if she won’t let you stay at our house. We have an extra bedroom.” I smiled at him in a friendly way.

He hugged me and thanked me profusely. He added, “Alyxx, you don’t know how happy this makes me! Nobody has ever offered for me to stay at their house! Thank you!”

“Oh, it’s no problem. Let’s find a payphone.”

As we were walking, I could smell his overpowering scent. It was a clean scent but had a sharp edge to it. I loved his smell.
