Okay, this chapter was written by my very good and talented bestfriend MusicIsLife_13! She is an amazing writer and im so glad to be writing my very first book with her. So this chapter is dedicated to her! and i love her!

I made it to lunch time alive. I was pretty sure I had a few spitballs lodged in my hair though. It’d be a bitch getting them out, seeing as how my hair was bleached white. Well, mostly. The ends were striped in pink, purple, and blue. Having cool hair was the only upside to my heritage.

Anyways, back to my current dilemma. Finding a seat in the lunchroom. I really did not want to eat in the bathroom like I had seen some freshman loner doing earlier.

               “Psst.”

I glanced over and met the most amazing blue-green eyes I had ever seen. I recognized them immediately.

“Care to join me?” Andy asked, flipping his black hair out of his eyes, only to have the strand with a single blue streak flop right back in his face.

“Er...sure?” He grinned and started walking out of the lunchroom. Against my better judgement, I quickly followed.

He stopped outside a classroom and held open the door for me. “After you, m’lady.”

I fought the urge to roll my eyes and stepped in. Ah, so these were the school’s outsider kids. Six pairs of eyes shot to me. Two pairs were guys’, the rest girls.

“Guys,” Andy began, walking in behind me. “This is Ra- Alyxx.” He shot me an apologetic look when he nearly called me Raven. I grimaced then smiled shyly at the group in front of me. They were all silent for a moment, then...

“Hi!” One of the girls grinned and quite literally skipped up to me. She had long, curly black hair with random strands colored purple, orange, and green, which contrasted greatly from her bright blue eyes. The girl grinned, revealing nearly straight teeth. “I’m Kaiya,” she said brightly. She reached behind her and pulled one of the boys forward.

The guy had layered and teased black hair with bright green tips. He had a hoop going through the left side of his nose and a stud going through the left side of his bottom lip. Kaiya introduced him. “This is my boyfriend, Destery.”

I waved at them both timidly. Kaiya giggled, then linked arms with me and brought me around the room to introduce me to the others.

“This is my best friend, Macin,” she said, gesturing to a girl with straight blue hair and black tips. I couldn’t see any piercings on her, unlike Kaiya, who had multiple ear piercings and spider bites on the left side of her mouth. Macin wore black horn-rimmed glasses and no obvious make-up.

Macin grinned and snuggled deeper into the arms of the guy beside her. He seemed fairly normal, with fluffy brown hair and tan skin. He didn’t seem to fit in with the pale-skinned, dark-clothed people around him.

“This is Aaron,” Kaiya explained, smiling at the two like they were newborn kittens. “He’s been dating Macin for nearly a year now. Aren’t they adorable?”

I had to admit they were. But before I could say anything, I was already being dragged to the next people.

The two girls were both fairly short and fit in about as much as Aaron did. One had light brown hair with blonde highlights and brown eyes. The other had dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes.

“These two are Darimae and Ariella,” Kaiya introduced. “Now, I know what you’re thinking. They don’t exactly look like the type to be hanging out with our type. Well...you’re right about that.” Kaiya paused and frowned, as if deep in thought.

“I’m friends with Kaiya and Macin,” Darimae pointed out, hugging Kaiya.

Kaiya grinned. “Exactly!” Then she looked at the blonde with distaste. “I still don’t know why Ariella is here though.”

Ariella narrowed her eyes, but Kaiya simply skipped away, giggling. That girl was certainly not normal. But then again, no one was. I definitely wasn’t.

I made my way back over to Andy. He grinned at me. “So, I see you’ve met everyone?”

I nodded. “They all seem pretty cool.”

He chuckled. “You think they’re insane.”

                         I shrugged innocently. “Well...Kaiya-”

“Don’t make me cut you,” the girl called from the other side of the room, causing me to jump. She giggled again. “I can hear you. And trust me, I’m not insane.” I must have looked doubtful because Andy burst out laughing. I decided I liked the sound of that.

Kaiya pouted and a chuckling Destery pulled her into a hug.

The bell rang, signaling the end of lunch. As a senior, that meant the end of the school day.

As Raven Alyxxandria Jacyn Reaper, it meant time to go do some work for my father.
