Finally (Akaashi Keiji x reader)

Sushi

The car ride was only about 10 minutes until you arrived to the restaurant.  Akaashi carefully pulled into a parking spot and the both of you got out of the car.  The both of you walked to the entrance and he held the door open for you to enter.  The restaurant was decorated nicely with the traditional Japanese style.  Akaashi approached the staff at the front desk and gave his information.

"What name is the reservation under?" the staff asked.

"Akaashi Keiji" he responded

The staff checked the computer database for his name and found it rather quickly. 

"Alright! Follow me please." she said as she began to lead the way.

You walked next to Akaashi and followed the lady.  She lead you to a private room with seats for two people.

"Someone will be here shortly to take your order" she said with a smile before leaving the room and closing the door behind her.

You looked around the room and saw lots of nice plants, still with a traditional Japanese theme.  In the middle of the room was a small table and two cushions placed on opposite sides of the table to sit at.

"I hope you don't mind that I reserved a more traditional seating" Akaashi said, looking at you.

"Not at all! I actually didn't expect a private room" you laughed slightly.

Akaashi chuckled and waited for you to sit before making his way to his seat.  With the both of you seated, you looked over the menu.  All the food looked so good and you couldn't decide what to choose.

"Ahh I don't know what to chooseee" you laughed.

"There's a couple's mix option, wanna try that?" he asked.

"Sure!" 

The two of you talked a little bit while waiting for someone to take your order.  While you waited, you continued to shift uncomfortably in your seat because of your skirt.  You couldn't seem to find a position that was comfy and still covered your skin properly.

Akaashi POV

Y/N and I were talking while we waited for the waiter to come.  Although, Y/N did seem to keep moving around a lot.  'I wonder what's up with her'   I thought to myself.  I kept thinking about this while talking with her.  'Ohhhh it must be her skirt, it's probably too short' I finally realized. I thought of how to make her more comfortable while talking.

Previous POV

After about 15 minutes, the waiter finally came.  

"Good evening! I will be your waiter for today! What can I get you two?" he asked.

"Can we get the couple's mixed sushi dinner?" Akaashi politely asked. 

"Of course! And would you like any drinks?" he offered.

Akaashi then looked to you to see if you wanted anything.

"Just a strawberry lemonade please" you responded to the waiter.

"I'll have the same" Akaashi said.

"Alrighty! Is that all you would like today?" he asked

"Oh and by any chance do you have a blanket that she can use?" Akaashi asked, nodding his head in your direction.

It was a bit of a high end restaurant, so Akaashi figured there would be.

"Sure! I'll bring it in a minute!" the waiter said before leaving the room.

"A blanket?" you questioned.

"You look uncomfortable because of your skirt so I figured that you can use a blanket to cover your legs so you can feel more comfortable" he replied

"O-oh..thank you Akaashi" you blushed a bit at his thoughtfulness. 

Sure enough, 5 minutes later, the waiter re-entered the room with a blanket.  

"Here you go!" he said as he handed you the blanket.

"Thank you!" you said as he left the room.

You began to cross your legs so you can sit comfortably and put the blanket over your legs so that no one can see up your skirt.  Akaashi looked away while you covered yourself.

"Okie I'm good now" you said, signaling that he can look at you again.

With that, he looked forward again.  Although, when he turned to face you again, you noticed a small blush on his cheeks.  

"S-so what's your favorite type of sushi?" he asked, not knowing what to say. 

"I can't choose between sashimi and makizushi" you laughed "What about you?"

The both of you continued to make small talk until the waiter brought your food.  

After a while of waiting, the staff came in with your food.  He carried two silver platters and he entered the room.  The waiter placed the platters down on the table and left the both of you to eat...
