I'm currently in Math Class crying because I got a B on my math quiz and I realized that I hadn't updated my book. Well, fic week is over and I still have 1 more fic to write so yea. Enjoy I guess? I've lost track of the days so yea.

Luna muttered to herself as she got ready for the quidditch match she was about to play, Gryffindor vs Slytherin. As noted, the houses were rivals and Luna wanted to win. She slid on her quidditch robes and stood there silently. Luna was always nervous before a match but this time her nerves were getting to her. Why might you ask? A certain Slytherin might be playing against. Matteo Balsano was Slytherin's star player, their seeker. Luna tried to shake it off but she just couldn't. "I'll be playing against Matteo," Luna whispered to herself, clutching her moon pendant. She always had it with her when she played a match. "So...Are you ready for the big match?" Gaston, her fellow chaser said, throwing the quaffle at her which caught Luna by surprise. For someone who was quite clumsy, Luna was an excellent chaser. "Yeah I guess I'm ready for it," Luna said. "What happened to energetic Luna? I only see nervous and mopey Luna," Gaston asked. "I'm fine Gaston I just need some fresh air, I'll be back in a second," Luna said exiting the locker room. "Okay but don't get lost again, we had to replace you with Ramiro and you know how I feel about him," Gaston called. Luna rolled her eyes, "I'll be back in 2 minutes I promise,".

Luna wandered the halls of Hogwarts trying not to stress herself even more. "It's just a match Luna, nothing more, nothing less," she muttered to herself over and over again. She and Matteo weren't like the others, she felt a special connection to him. While Luna didn't know what it was, she knew that they were destined to be together. But he had a girlfriend, Ambar, while Luna had Simon. Just thinking about Simon made Luna's head spin. Were they friends, were they more than that? Luna only thought of Simon as a friend however she felt something more than that. However, it wasn't as strong as what she felt towards Matteo. It was always Matteo that came to her mind. Simon was her best friend, she told him everything, she saw him as a brother when she was younger. However now she saw things differently. It was more than just a friendship but she didn't know how to feel about it.

Just as Luna was about to turn back to the locker room she saw Ambar crouched down next to a broom closet. "Ambar, are you alright?" Luna asked, confused about what she was doing on the ground. Ambar saw her and quickly shoved her wand into her pocket, "Lunita, what a surprise to see you here," She said with a superficial smile. Ambar knew that finally, her plan was going to work. "I was just getting some fresh air before the match," Luna smiled. Luna didn't really trust Ambar but she wasn't going to be mean to her just because of her suspicions. "Ah, aren't you playing chaser today for Gryffindor?" Ambar asked. "Yup," Luna said nodding. "Well then I'll be heading down that way-" Luna started but Ambar interrupted her, "I think I lost my wand in there, could you help me find it?" Ambar asked, pointing to the broom closet. "What a weird request," Luna thought. "Um yeah sure," Luna said uncertainly opening the door and looking inside. Before Luna knew it Ambar had pushed her in and locked her inside. "NO," Luna said vigorously, trying to open the door. "Ambar let me out please, I can't miss this game please," Luna begged. "Too late," Ambar laughed. "That's what you get for being with Matteo this whole time. I'm his girlfriend, not you Lunita so STAY AWAY," Ambar said nastily. "Ambar I think you have the wrong person, I don't like Matteo-" Luna started. "I don't have time for excuses. Now if you'll excuse me I have a game to watch," Ambar said, walking away. "NOO, please someone, someone get me out," Luna screamed, hoping someone could hear her.

"Someone open the door, I'm gonna be late help!" Luna screamed, banging the door. Luna cursed as she realized she had left her wand in the locker room. "Anyone help me out of here please," Luna sobbed. "I can't be late this time I'm gonna my position as chaser for Gryffindor," Luna cursed. Matteo heard screaming from the broom closet as he sprinted towards it. "Luna is that you?" Matteo asked. Luna sighed in relief, "Matteo thank goodness can you open the door please?". Matteo twisted the doorknob vigorously yet nothing. "It's not opening, it's locked both ways," Matteo groaned. "Oh for goodness sake Matteo you're not a muggle, use your wand," Luna screamed banging on the door. "Oh right, alohomora," Matteo muttered. Just as he opened the door he felt an arm push him into the closet. "Shit," Matteo mumbled as he stumbled into the broom closet practically falling on top of Luna. Both of them heard the door lock and groaned in frustration. All of a sudden Luna realized that Matteo was pushed up against her and blushed. The smell of his robes was heavenly and Luna buried her face into them, keeping the scent from leaving her nose.

Both of them awkwardly shuffled away from each other. That being only inches because they were practically squished in the tiny broom closet. Matteo pulled out his wand and muttered some spells. A few seconds later he groaned in frustration. "Nothing is working," he said, slumping into the side of the closet. Luna screamed in frustration. Matteo always found it cute when she was annoyed. Luna got up and banged on the door, "Help! Open the door, anyone please,". Matteo sniggered, "It's not like anyone's gonna be in this hallway, both of the teams are out on the field playing, "It's just the two of us, alone," Matteo said staring into her eyes. Luna fidgeted with her robe, "Also, who locked you in here?" Matteo asked. "Ambar," Luna grumbled. "I am so sorry Luna," Matteo started. "It's fine Matteo, I know it's not your fault," Luna sighed. Matteo gave her a small smile. "I'm sure someone will get us out of here," Luna said with uncertainty. "You don't look very certain," Matteo said sweetly. "Hey," Matteo said leaning into Luna. "We'll get out of here," Matteo said calmly. Luna pulled him into a hug. "I can't believe I'm saying this but I'm so glad that I got stuck in here with you chico fresa,". Matteo smiled as he hugged her, "Me too chica delivery,". Both of their lips were centimeters away from each other as they both leaned in. Luna was internally screaming she couldn't believe she was about to kiss Matteo, the boy from her dreams. All of a sudden a large bang startled them both as Luna fell on top of Matteo. Gastón coughed as he opened the door. "Finally I found you two, the game is starting in two minutes, get out on the field. Luna and Matteo sighed in relief, "Thank you so much Gastón," both of them said in unison. Luna sprinted out to the field giving Matteo a dreamy stare. Matteo was about to go when the Gryffindor said, "Imma need you to explain everything after,". Matteo smirked as he ran off. With Luna's well-played passes and Gaston's goal-scoring ability, Gryffindor had won the match. Matteo in one bit was not jealous because he had been so close to kissing his chica delivery. "Earth to Matteo?" Ambar asked. "Where were you before the match, I thought we were supposed to meet before you went out to play?" "I helped someone out of a broom closet," Matteo smiled. "Also, we're done," Matteo said, walking away.
