Lost In Forever

01.|The Beginning

"Alex, what have you done?" exclaims my mother-- Tamera. All I see is nothing but the darkness, feeling numb but somehow it feels completely fine. Ouh wait I see a bed and I'm on it, my mother crying her eyes out and a crowd of doctors fussing over me. Am I dying, yeah I am. Slowly remembering as how I took a razor to slit my wrist but missed, urgh the perfect opportunity to end my life.

I'm sure you might be confused with everything so here, I'm going to give you a quick recap of everything. My name is Alex Kane and yes my father is Damien Kane the prime Minister. My mother Tamera is just my dad's number one fan. I would say I'm average looking, long black hair that fall to my back, a curvy waist and average chest. My little button for a nose and beautiful long lashes which makes my almond eyes pop.

So you would think that being the prime Minister's daughter I would already have been used to the fame, but on the contrary it is quite the opposite, it all began when my 18th birthday was coming up. "So Alex what are you going to do for your birthday?" Yolanda asks although my birthday is 5 months away. Yolanda has been with us ever since I could remember, so she has become part of the family. "Yolanda my birthday is still months away" "Yes I know, but I just want an early start with the planning that's all" she says with a sheepish grin. "Anything you want, just don't go all out. But anyways I gotta go, don't want to be late for school now do I?" "Okay baby see you after school." I give her a kiss on the cheek and hurriedly grab my leather jacket and make my way to my Ducati

I know what you must be thinking, a girl with a Ducati, but trust me it wasn't easy convincing my parents to get me one. I slowly make my way through the gates of Quantico High School, a school full of the richest kids of anyone who is anyone you could imagine.

"Hey Alex, get over here" quickly noticing that it's my best friend Erin waving me over to her tinted black Range Rover. Being with Erin is the best, with her parents being the some of the wealthiest music influencers, you would think she enjoys being in the spotlight but actually she enjoys being an introvert. The one thing I love about her is her taste in fashion which makes my every day wardrobe of black and Grey look like a drag.

"Okay so here's the thing" I quickly blurt out, "I know I should've picked up your calls last night but Jake came home and he wanted to spend some time with me. I know, I know I'm sorry but I just don't get enough time with my brother" "Fine I'm not mad but you owe me" Done, you can come over tonight or we can go to the movies." "We'll see."

As we entered the pristine plastic barbies are at it harassing any innocent girl who they think does not fit their circle. I go to my locker to get my books but knowing that I'm not alone. I slowly turn around and there in front of me is the meanest of them all with her little possey of dolls behind her. With a grim look on her face she says to me

"Well if it isn't Alex Kane, the moron with a bike. Who do you think you are? You might think that you're all fly being the only girl with a bike but you're just a nobody who doesn't deserve to be here and with a face like yours, trust me I wouldn't want to live another day. But anyways bye now." She turns and they all follow laughing their lungs out.

"Don't let them get to you" seeing that it's my friend Willy trying to cheer me up. "You know what I actually had a corn dog stuck up my nose today" "Why would you do that?" I ask, surprisingly getting interested in what he has to say and as usual he always finds a way to cheer Erin and I up by making something utterly ridiculous. "So I got a dare..." "Never mind me asking" I quickly cut him off. "But thanks Willy I know what you're trying to do and frankly I don't give a damn anymore" "That's my girl" he says half shouting as the bell has rung and we have to get to our lessons. "See you later" "See ya" I say.

I compose myself and walk inside my Spanish class with Mr Ortega, "Buenos dias" he greets and everyone responds with a not so merry "Buenos dias".

The classes take longer than I thought but then finally it's gym class my favorite and today I'm trying out for the track team. Coach Anders is very pleased as she thinks that I have the potential to be captain. Tryouts go smoothly and afterwards we hit the showers and it's finally lunch break.

As I enter the cafeteria I instantly spot Erin making out with her boyfriend Shawn and Willy and his girlfriend debate about something which I'm pretty sure is stupid. I dump my tray on the table and Erin and Shawn instantly stop making out. "So Ms Kane, how's the day so far? Ouh and Alex I have to cancel today, Shawn wants to take me out tonight, hope you don't mind." She says beaming with a huge grin on her face "No problem" I say while swallowing down the bitter disappointment. "So what are you love birds doing tonight?" directing my question to Willy and Sammy.

"You know, the usual, grab a pizza, head to my place and you know do what lovers do". He says very proud of himself. "Willy" squeals looking embarrassed to face us. At the sight of her we all burst into a fit of laughter.

"Ok love birds I gotta go lunch break is almost over and I have a lot of catching up to do on calculus. And I'll hang out with you guys some other time" " Alex don't be like that I promise that we'll hang out".

"Faking humour that I do not feel I tell her" Erin chill I've just been doing a lot of thinking these days and I totally get it" they all look at me not convinced "okay" I say making my voice stern so they'll get convinced, " I really don't mind I'm actually really happy for you guys I just  a lot of catching up to do-- with myself that is"

"Sure" says Erin with a sad smile on her face. "See you guys I gotta go" I say as I quickly rush towards my calculus class with Mr. Gordon.

After calculus, the classes sped gas and then it's finally the final bell. I head to my locker as I know that Erin will be waiting for me as usual. We quickly say goodbye as Shawn is waiting for her.

I walk towards the parking lot and grab my helmet and quickly rev the engine. I decide to take a detour as I had a lot of things to get off my mind. Riding my bike relaxes my mind but this time I drift too far and I don't notice the car until it's too late. I hear a ringing sound in my head and blood dripping down my face and I slowly fall unconscious.
