"Dear Nandini,
I haven't known true love for a long time. It was something that i discovered when i first saw you but was too dumb to acknowledge. When i saw you as that independent and free girl dancing on the street. My mom used to recite stories and poems about love, all claiming that love was the centre of the universe. That it could heal even the most broken person. That it was what we all needed for our survival." Nandini looked with sad eyes, "Wasn't that the openeing para of your last straw to lure me.".

Nandini looked deep into his eyes searching for a reaction that never came. Manik knew he was at fault but his love, well it wasn't. He wasn't gonna let these people here make fun of what he felt but wasn't this the same thing that he did to her so all the emotions surpassed each other and he was unable to form a sentence.
"Looks like he is speechless here. Hadn't expected this right your hidden gem being exposed." Zeke spoke.
"Enough!!" Manik's calmness reached to it's peak when it came to Zeke being his torture devil here. He did let down the family and Nandini but Zeke had no right here.
"Oh so Mr. Malhotra is back into action." Zeke mocked him.
"I am not answerable to you because you have no right to speak here. This is between me and Nandini. This is OUR matter and i don't approve of any outsider to barge into this so it's better if you zip up your mouth and shut the fuck up." Manik warned Zeke giving him a stern look. Next he turned to Nandini to make her understand that he genuinely love her. In all this game of love and betrayal one thing that came out well was his love for her, not in a million dreams he had ever thought that he'll walk out from Alya and finally find his soulmate.
"I know you don't believe me and that is correct on your terms because i am a jerk, a rat, a traitor, everything that you think of me but just let me say it out that i DO love you. I had never thought of this day ever to be true but it is. I can't imagine my life without you anymore cause you mean the world to me. until now i had always thought that what i felt for Alya was what true love is but the truth is that it was all an emotional baggage that i needed somebody to lean onto but then i saw you, i met you and that baggage went away. i felt free." Manik held her hand as he brought her close. "Just trust me on this and please give me a chance to explain because if i don't and if you walk out of my life now. I will be broken for life."
Nandini and the others present in that room had tears in their eyes but it was still confusing. The love was warm but the betrayal was cold in here. Nobody knew what the next second would bring their lives upto.
"You wan't me to trust you?" Nandini asked.
"Nandini." Zeke resisted.
"Zeke he was right at one thing that now it's between us. It's between me and him. It's been too long beating around the bush, hiding things and playing each other. Now i wanna let this go." Nandini explained to Zeke what she always had in her heart.
"So you wan't me to trust you?" Nandini asked Manik again standing closer to him.
"Yes just one last time and i am ready to accept any punishments for my past deed." Manik cried.
"But i can't do that." Nandini stepped back, "I can't because over all of my love for my dad. I loved you. I was happy to start a new life with you but you hurt me. You've broken my heart into a million pieces and it pains. It pained alot to me to know that you were never mine. Manik do you even understand the fact that you cheated on me. You had a wife, you had me but you chose to be with a different women be it any reason. You said that you hated your father because he left you. He betrayed you. he cheated on your mom for a love outside of your family but you did the same didn't you. " Nandini let it out, all for once.
