Josephine POV:

After short minutes of walking, me and Mercy come upon a familiar waterfall. "So where is this temple?" Mercy asks and looks around unimpressed at the scenery. Her hands are on her hips and her face is neutral. We are in the middle of a gorgeous forest with a sparkling waterfall and lake and here she is looking disinterested!

"Come," I take her hand and pull her to the body of water that's in front of our bare feet. I don't let my anger show at her disrespect towards my portal grounds. The dead leaves and twigs crunch beneath or feet as we get closer to the crystal like water.

"What, we are taking a swim? No way!" She exclaims and tries to get away by pulling her hand harshly, but I keep a tight grip on her.

"Just trust me." I tell her as I look over my shoulder at her and then pull her in with me, I continue to pull her with me as we walk deeper and deeper into the water. I know she can't feel the temperature yet she still dramatically takes a sharp intake of breath as if she could feel the cold temperature of the water. Except the water isn't cold, it's actually quite warm.

She looks at me with wide eyes, "are you trying to kill me!" She exclaims once the water gets up to our necks.

"No, hold your breath." I instruct her a little impatiently. With a wary expression she nods her head and does, I pull her so that we are now completely submerged under the water. The luke warm water refreshes me and gives me serenity.

And before I know it she's letting out a little scream as she feels us drop in the air and land on our feel onto the dirt ground. She quickly stands up and runs her hands over her body confused as to why she is completely dry and then looks around. Here we are in a forest.

But this one is different, not just because of the literal glittering light and magical glowing butterflies that seem to be dusted in Tinker Bells pixie dust, but because we are in an entirely different realm.

This realm is made up of white magic, or as the witches here call it, pure magic. Magic that is graced to them straight from the Moon Goddess. Me, my mother and all of my grandmothers before her. This place is where my magic is strongest, and it's a place only the Moon Goddess can take you to herself.

That lake is full of magic, but it wouldn't teleport anyone here without the Goddesses approval. Basically it serves as a locked gate, just because it's the gate it doesn't mean that it would open up to anyone without a key.

"Woah," Mercy breathes out in awe. Here in this realm, every creature looks like their true selves. Like Mercy for instance, the whites of her eyes are blood red with veins running from her water lines. Her fangs are also present so her word comes out with a slight lisp. "What the hell?" She asks herself as she feels her face.

I stand behind her, "in this realm, we look of our true selves." I inform her calmly. She quickly turns around to face me and gasps then covers her mouth with her hand.

I already know my eyes are completely white, my skin has become more pale and my hair has a silver tint to it.

"You look gorgeous," she tells me.

"Thank you, so do you. Don't try to hide it," I put my hand on her shoulder to comfort her.

She nods with a smile, "so where are we?" She asks me in curiosity and awe.

"The realm of purity," I inform her with a sigh. "All magic here is pure and clean. The magic back home is tainted so that we can hide our true selves. If a regular werewolf were to come here they would be in their wolfs form, because that is the magic aspect of them." I smile as I explain my sanctuary.

"That's so cool," she giggles. I admire the the blood red dress and roses in her hair pair with her eyes. It screams lethal and dangerous, yet her smile, blonde hair and giggles only show innocence and light.

"Yeah, it is." I lightly grab her hand and pull her a few steps till we are in front of a exact replica of the waterfall at home yet this one you can the how everything looks more glittery and angelic. I lead her to rocks at the side that are shaped and placed as steps that lead up to the under side of the gushing waterfall. We go up them and enter what is my beloved temple.

A beautiful cave hidden by roaring waters. Green vines cover the walls and soft moss covers the ground, acting as a rug. I raise my hand and with a small murmur a small fire starts in the middle of the cave, lighting it and warming it.

"Sit," I instruct Mercy and wave my hand to in front of the fire. Silently she nods her head then goes and takes a seat crisscross applesauce in front of it. I take motion and without a word walk over to her then get to my knees behind her. Steadily I raise my hands so that the tips of my fingers are pressed to the sides of her head.

"What are you doing?" She asks me but stays still.

"Finding out why I have such a deep connection to you." I reply back to her, within a second I'm diving in.

Othossium, Assilem. Artemis, Hitcher.

Four names pop into my mind, as does flashes of what seems like a movie. Giggling and deep laughs echo in my mind as does scenes of hand holding, running in the woods and dancing in the rain.

Blood, chaos. No more laughs.

I keep going.

Jessebella, Embessa. Dassium, Forshire.

More and more names flash in a quick blur.

Oliver.

Ephraim.

Samson.

Luther.

Adeline.

Leona.

Millie.

Della.

What seems like life times and life times of names pass over me. Each one feeling familiar and like home. Images of two men wrestling shows itself but their faces are blurred. Two nude women swimming through dark water appears but their faces don't.

My confusion is overwhelming and suffocating.

"I'll love you today, and when today turns tomorrow and when tomorrow turns to yesterday and yesterday turns to dust."

"My heart belongs to you, Erethal. You will own my love in each lifetime."

Suddenly a voice whispers in my ear, "find the last to complete the past." With that a image of a very special man passes through my mind, he is both Mercy's mate and the King of vampires. Everything makes sense now, and the faces are revealed. I was seeing memories. My memories from each lifetime.
