Even though Mardi Gras can't happen as it normally would this year, people are still finding ways to celebrate. The way they've dealt with the floats? Turning them into house floats.
Houses in New Orleans are decked out in tassels and brightly colored streamers as they decorate their front porches like Mardi Gras floats. Over 140 houses are decorated and they're all within walking distance from each other. Taking a stroll through the neighborhood during a pandemic has never been more entertaining.
