Tilda Ekengren was the granddaughter of Agnetha and Björn. Well their eldest granddaughter because they have four grandchildren. Four granddaughters that they never got to meet as a result of them being sucked into the game. Tilda was the oldest of Linda's three daughters as she had two younger sisters named Esther and Signe, while Christian had a one year old baby girl named Nike. And because today marked exactly 40 years after the group's disappearance and supposed death, Tilda couldn't stop thinking about it.
It was really getting on her nerves. She had seen pictures of her deceased grandparents and had listened to ABBA's songs but she couldn't stand listening to them or hearing about them or just similar things like that. This was especially true on days like today. She was embarrassed that her two maternal grandparents at least were dead before she was even born. She got along with her paternal grandparents really well but she wanted to know Agnetha and Björn as well. She resented not having all of her grandparents with her all throughout her important milestones throughout her 17 years of life. And because of that, she was lost in her own bubble and wanted nothing to do with the world around her, hence why she was refusing to participate in gym class.
"Let's go!" Coach Linda Peterson exclaimed as the class ran laps around the gym, while Tilda simply just stood there to herself. If that wasn't enough, Ebba just showed up to class late as usual. Ebba and Tilda were both in the same gym class and the two girls simply couldn't stand each other. Gabriel and Oscar were also in the same gym class as the two girls. "Ebba, you're late!"
"Sorry," Ebba replied as she rushed into class and immediately joined the rest of the class as they continued running laps around the gym. As soon as she began running laps in the gym along with Gabriel, Oscar, and the rest of the class, Ebba took out her phone and put her headphones on as she began FaceTiming Melissa once more.
"I heard she broke up with that hockey guy," Melissa said through Ebba's phone screen as she and Ebba were talking on FaceTime as usual.
"This could be your opening, Langer!" Coach Peterson announced as she blew her whistle and the class stopped running and came together to listen to her instructions. There were a bunch of footballs and basketballs inside the crate in the middle of the gym next to her. "All right, we're gonna practice catching and throwing so partner up and grab an American football. Let's move!"
The class immediately obeyed the coach's commands as Ebba and Melissa continued talking to each other through FaceTime and Tilda was still lost in her little bubble, not wanting anything to do with the world around her.
"He's so cute," Melissa gushed as she and Ebba continued talking and the class continued partnering up with one another and grabbing a football.
Meanwhile, Coach Peterson noticed that Tilda was lost in her own little bubble and wanting absolutely nothing to do with the world around her. The coach wasn't too pleased with her without a doubt and didn't hesitate to speak up about it as she walked over to where Tilda was.
"Hey Tilda!" Coach Peterson exclaimed as she walked over to Tilda, feeling annoyed that Tilda didn't want anything to do with the world at all today. Tilda turned around as soon as she heard the coach calling her and was coming close to her. "Tilda! You can't play catch by yourself! Pair up!"
Tilda simply just stood there looking lost and a bit annoyed that Coach Peterson was making her participate in class on a day like today. However, the coach was still having none of it.
"Come on!" Coach Peterson exclaimed as she beckoned Tilda to go over to where the rest of the class was. "Let's go!"
"No, no," Tilda hesitated. "I'm—I'm good."
"Okay," Coach Peterson replied as she came even closer to where Tilda was, sounding irritated with the fact that Tilda was refusing to participate in her class.
