Chapter 9

"Watch your step in here," Frida announced as everyone continued following her, Benny, Björn, and Agnetha to safety.

"Um, who are you?" Tilda asked.

"And who do you think we are?!" Oscar exclaimed.

"Right," Björn announced. "Sorry, ok, my bad."

"Um," Benny replied. "Let us back up a little bit here."

"Wait," Gabriel announced as he started putting two and two together. "Are you guys ABBA? The world famous band from back in the 70s?"

"Yes," Björn replied as Benny, Frida, and Agnetha nodded in agreement. "Yeah, that's us."

"Wait a minute," Oscar announced. "Wait, you guys are ABBA? So you guys are in the game too?"

"Stay off the white bricks," a strange man announced. "And freeze."

Next thing you know, Agnetha, Frida, and Tilda let out little screams as white beams which almost looked like knives nearly killed them. They were literally surrounded by these knives before they eventually disappeared after about a minute or so. The group continued walking shortly after that.

"So gnarly," Benny announced as the group started walking again.

"This game sucks!" Oscar exclaimed whispering as he turned to Gabriel as they kept walking.

"Hup!" Frida exclaimed as she pointed her torch towards the front before dropping it to the ground, where there were a bunch of crocodiles.

"Alright," Benny announced as he and Björn got the plank together so they could cross the huge gap that was in front of them. "Get this plank."

"Follow us," Agnetha announced as she, Björn, Benny, and Frida began walking the plank and the teens quickly followed.

"Careful," Björn replied as he turned to the teens once he, Agnetha, Benny, and Frida finished crossing. "It's a horrible way to die."

"Oh God!" Tilda exclaimed quietly, feeling scared as she began walking the plank.

Agnetha, on the other hand, sympathized with her as that was exactly how she felt when she first had to walk that exact same plank surrounded by hungry crocodiles. As a matter of fact, she was seeing a lot of herself and Björn in Tilda already despite the fact that they had just met and she wanted to point it out to Björn once the time was right. And there was no doubt that Tilda herself was already seeing a lot of herself in Agnetha and Björn. She was starting to think that Agnetha and Björn were her long lost grandparents but didn't want to get herself worked up about it. At least not yet.

"There you go," Björn replied reassuringly as he helped Tilda across. "All right."

Next, it was Oscar's turn to walk the plank and he was just as scared as Tilda was to walk the plank. Even more so after a crocodile roared at him as he was walking.

"Come on," Agnetha replied reassuringly as she encouraged him to continue walking, which Oscar eventually did.

"I got it," Oscar replied. "I got it. I just defanged a snake. Give me a little respect."

Then came Gabriel's turn to walk the plank and he walked the plank without any hesitation, which was very unusual of him to do, but he did it. Lastly, it was now Ebba's turn and she was just as nervous as Tilda and Oscar to walk the plank.

"Okay," Ebba said nervously as she looked down at the plank as she began walking.

Just then, a crocodile jumped up and began eating the plank, which made Ebba yell in fear. Luckily, both Benny and Björn were able to help Ebba off the plank in time before she was eaten by the crocodile.
