All of a sudden, Oscar came back to life after eating that piece of cake as everyone gasped in shock. The other people in the village weren't used to seeing people die and then come back to life. It was something that only happened on rare occasions after all.
"God!" Oscar exclaimed as soon as he came back to life. "Oh! Ow! What the hell?! Ugh!"
"Like I said," Gabriel replied as he helped Oscar up. "Important to be discreet."
"Hey!" Oscar exclaimed as he turned to Gabriel. "You also said eat!"
"Rations!" The store owner exclaimed. "Get your rations!"
"You better shut your ass up!" Oscar exclaimed as he then turned his attention on the store owner, who kept shouting at everyone to come and get their rations.
"Gabriel!" A young girl living in the village exclaimed happily. "Thank goodness you're here! Jumanji needs you!"
"Uh thanks," Gabriel replied awkwardly. "Good to be here."
"Ask about the missing piece," Tilda added as she whispered into Ebba's ear.
"Oh right," Ebba replied before turning to the young girl. "Hi, I'm Ebba. I'm a map doctor or something and I have this map that like has a missing piece."
The young girl simply stared at Ebba awkwardly with a confused look on her face before turning back to Gabriel. There was no doubt that she, along with Nigel Billingsley, is a non player character in the game.
"Gabriel!" The young girl exclaimed. "Thank goodness you're here! Jumanji needs you!"
"Rude," Ebba replied.
"We need to find the missing piece," Gabriel replied, talking to the young girl.
As soon as Gabriel told the young girl what he and the others needed, the girl soon led them to where they needed to go. She finally understood what they had needed. The young girl walked the group through the shops until they reached a small, empty looking room in the very back. There was a small little piece of furniture lying in the middle of the room and that was about it.
"What you need is in the basket," the young girl announced as she showed the group the unknown room in the back of the shops. "One false move and you're in a casket. Trust one another and never blink. The missing piece is not what you think."
"Oy vey," Ebba sighed.
"Good luck mighty hero," the young girl replied as she turned back to Gabriel, having lots of faith in him and the others. "Jumanji needs you."
"Jumanji needs him," Oscar added as he talked over the young girl as she told Gabriel that Jumanji needed him. "We know. You've said it several times."
The young girl left shortly afterwards, leaving the group to fend for themselves in the small, unknown room with the basket with the missing piece in the middle of the room.
"So thinking there's a umm...," Gabriel announced. "A snake in there or something."
"Yep," Oscar nodded. "Sounds like a Gabriel thing to me."
"Why would this be a Gabriel thing?" Gabriel replied.
"Because you're the mighty hero," Oscar replied. "You heard what she said, 'Jumanji needs you,' now get."
With that being said, Gabriel led the others into the small room and as Gabriel got closer to the basket, the familiar sounds of drumbeats began beating as the four teens immediately looked around. Gabriel immediately freaked out to say the least.
"I DON'T WANNA DO THIS!" Gabriel exclaimed as he turned to the others, now feeling a bit scared.
"Just go!" Oscar exclaimed, encouraging Gabriel.
