I jumped out of my sleep covered in sweat. I looked around trying to to figure out where I was. But once I turned on my lamp I realized I was in my new bedroom. I let out a sigh of relief as I tried to slow my heartbeat. Once it did I checked the time on my phone and it was 5:50 am. So I decided to just get up knowing I wouldn't fall back asleep. I got up out and went to my bathroom. After doing my business and brushing my teeth I grabbed my phone and blanket off my bed. I knew everyone was still sleeping so I was just going to go downstairs. Maybe sit in the backyard and watch the sun come up. When I opened my door Nic was was halfway out her bedroom with her blanket over her shoulders. We both froze looking at each other.

"What are you doing?" She asks me. "Couldn't sleep. What are you doing?" I asked her. "I couldn't sleep either so I was gonna go downstairs." She says. "Me too. Let's go sit on the back porch. I wanna watch the sun come up." I say quietly and she nods. We both quietly pass our siblings doors and head downstairs. Once down there we grabbed two bottles of water and went out back. Sitting on the porch swing Nicole lays her head on my shoulder. "So why couldn't you sleep?" Nic asks me. "It's nothing. I'm just trying to get used to sleeping here. It's weird sleeping in a new place." I tell her leaving the other half out. "I get that. I kept waking up during in the night. Also because I'm used to sharing a room with you." Nic says.

"That too. It's weird not being able to talk to you at night." I tell her. "I also know there's something your not telling me but I know you will eventually." Nic says and it goes quiet. As we sat and watched sunrise movement was heard from inside. The door slowly opened and out walked Clara. She sighed in relief as she saw the two of us. "I went to check on you two and you were gone." She says. Clara lifts Nicole's legs and sat. Then placed them over her lap. "What's got you two up so early?" Clara asked us. "We couldn't sleep." I tell her. "Ahh... is it cause your in a new place?" She asked. "Yeah... we're used to sharing a room too. So having our own room is new to us." Nic says.

"Oh if you want to share we move one of your beds to the other." Clara says. "No it's ok. It's just takes some getting used to. We'll be fine." I say. Clara nods and looks at the rising sun. "You know when when you were babies you two would always wake up right before the sun rose to eat. Then we sit by the window watching the sun come till you fell back to sleep." Clara says. "Really?" Nic asked. "Sí. Especially you Nicole. You slept through the night and was up bright and early." She said and rubs Nicole's cheek. "Now Y/n here wouldn't sleep at night. She for some reason wouldn't let me sleep. All she wanted to do was eat."

"And I still do. But I love my sleep now." I say making her softly laugh. "Well I'm gonna make breakfast soon. Any suggestions?" She asks. "Whatever you make is good with me." I say and Nic agrees. She nods and we continue to watch the sunrise. As she slowly rocked the swing I started to get sleepy. Then eventually we all dozed off.
