I yawned as I leaned over the kitchen counter. I was hungry but didn't know what to eat. Or maybe it's just I didn't want to cook. "Buenos dias Y/nn." Lauren says as she walks into the kitchen with food. "For you my dear." She places a container in front of me and a bottle of apple juice in front of me. "What? You really came all the way from your home to bring me food?" I asked. She giggled and nodded. "Mami told me how she had to go in early for work and dad wasn't here to feed you two. So I thought I'd be a good big sister and feed you." She explains. "God bless you child." I said before quickly opening the container and taking a bite out of the sausage.

"Woah wait... what did you do to this?" I asked. Lauren smirked making me worried. "There might be some bull testicles in there." She says making me pause my chewing. Lauren only laughed when I pushed the container away and spit out the food. "I'm just playing. I'm not that cruel." She says. I rolled my eyes and drank some of my apple juice. Lauren playfully pushes my shoulder making spill some of my juice. "My bad." She says and takes a seat on a stool. "Now tell me about your date." Lauren says excitedly. "Damn I think your the most excited about this." I said.

Then out of nowhere I was shoved once again. "You went on a date?" Nicole shouts. But I was only worried about one thing. My apple that is half empty now. "Yes Nic. I did." I said through gritted teeth. "And why was I informed. Out of anyone you told Lauren. No offense Lauren." Nic says hurt. "None taking. I was surprised she came to me too." Lauren says. "Ok sorry I didn't come to you Nic. But you act crazy when I like someone. Before we moved here you almost fought the girl next door because I said she was cute." I told my sister. "I'm just protective." Nic says before taking a seat beside Lauren who hands her food as well.

"Now tell us about the date." Lauren says. "Ok first we went to the diner. Since I know that's her favorite place to eat. Then after we went roller skating and then the beach." I said with a shrug. "And?" Nic asked. "And what?" I asked back. "How was it? Did you kiss her? Was it bad?" Nic asked. "It was fun. I really liked it and I actually like Paige a lot. She's great person. She was always someone I could just talk to. So Nic don't fight her." I tell them. "Oh it's Paige. Why didn't you say that before? I'm cool with her." Nic says but I could she still plotting in her head. "Don't worry Y/n. I'll make sure she keeps her cool." Lauren tells me. I nod and thank her. "Thank you. Now I'm gonna go eat in my room before y'all knock something else out of my hand."

Nicole's POV

"Paige... thanks for stopping by." I said as I let the girl in. You didn't think I'd actually listen to Y/n did you? "Oh hello." Paige says as we walked into the living room. Lauren and Taylor were both sitting in there. "Hello..." They said as they eyed here up and down. Paige sat on the couch uncomfortable. It got even more uncomfortable when Lauren and Taylor moved to sit on each side of her. I took a seat on the coffee table in front of her. "Is this some sort of intervention?" Paige asked. "What's the deal with you and my sister?" I asked. "Y/n? What do you mean?" She asked.

"I'm talking about you going on a date with her." I said. "Ohh Umm... was I not supposed?" She asked uncertain. "Did you ask us for permission?" Taylor asked her. "I mean no. I didn't know I was supposed to." Paige says. "Then you weren't supposed to accept." Lauren says. "I get that you all are worried about Y/n dating and possibly getting hurt. But this really isn't necessary. I'm don't plan on hurting her in any way." Paige says. "Yeah but it really is necessary. I promised Y/n I wouldn't hurt you. So the least I can do is threaten you." I said and her eyes widened. "You were gonna hurt me?" Paige asked. "Only if need. Look Y/n and I have been through a lot of shit. And if you ask me she got it the worst. Mostly because Y/n was the protector. She was taking beatings left and right even when it wasn't directed towards." I tell her.

"I don't hate you or anything for dating my sister. And I'm not going to hurt you. Just thins is my way of protecting her. I wasn't able to then but I'm going to do everything I can to do so now. So please don't break her heart. I don't know how much she has left." I say this time more serious. Paige sighs and nods. "I understand why you'd be cautious. I know what you've been through. But I really like her. Hurting her is the last thing I plan to do. I promise." Paige says. "Ugh your lucky we're friends." I said before standing up. "Seriously Nic! You promised!" We heard from the entrance. "Y/n... your back already." I said innocently. "Literally was gone for half a hour." Y/n said in disbelief. "Just so we're clear I never had a problem about you two dating. I think it's cute." Lauren says before running off with Taylor. "This is all dream." I tried. "Yeah nice try." Y/n says before chasing after me.
