A few days later

"Y/n go get your sister. Breakfast is ready." Ms Greene tells me. I nod and head up stairs. Once's I get to the room we are sharing I walk in. We also have to share one bed but that's ok.  "Ahh!" Nicole screams. I jump back not only startled but because a pillow flew at me. "Nic it's just me." I said catching the pillow. I walked over to the bed and sat on it. "I said you have another nightmare?" I asked her. Nicole nodded and played with her fingers. "What was it?" I asked. "Mom getting away with what she did and getting revenge. You were nowhere to be found." she tells me.

"Nic always be here. No matter what I won't let anything happen to you. Your my sister. It's our job to protect each other." I tell her. "Yes but what if it happens again and you can't get to me? Or your not there?" She asks looking me in my eyes. "Nicole I'll find way. Hell I broke a window just to prevent anything from happening to you." I say making her giggle. Which made me smile seeing her happy. "But as for me not being there I don't know. I just hope it never happens but we'll never know. Until then I'm stuck by your side. I'll protect you." I'll tell her. Nicole smiles and pulls me into a hug. "Thanks Y/n. I'll do my best protect. Especially from yourself." I suck my teeth and push her.

"Oh please... I got at least 20 more years." I joke making her pout. "Stop saying that. You know I hate when you say that." She says and crosses her arms. "Fine... now come on. Breakfast is ready and I'm not waiting anymore." I run out the room and to the kitchen. "About time. I thought I was going to have to report you two missing." Ms Greene joked. "Oh we just wanted to bond with my sister." Nic tells her and takes a seat beside me. "It was disgusting. Can you believe she hugged me." I say making them laugh. "Whatever." Nic says. Ms Greene hand us our plates and we begin to eat.

"So any news on our mom?" I asked. "Yes actually. They've finally set a date. They want you two to testify against her. Of course if your ok with that." Ms Greene tells us. "Oh I'm definitely going up." I say and Nic agrees. "Also we informed them of something else to that Olivia noticed." She says and looks at her daughter. "So I was looking at what Lauren Jauregui posted about her sisters that where kidnapped. She posted a couple of pictures of the twins and I thought they looked familiar. So I grabbed my moms phone and went on Nicole's Instagram to the baby pictures she posted." Olivia took both phones and slid them towards us.

"It could be a reach but I think that's you two." She says. I sit back in my seat and shake my head. "There's no way. We know our mom and she's in jail hopefully for a long time." I tell her. "They may be true. But do you really know that? Y'all don't even resemble her. Not ever a hair follicle represents her." Olivia says. "Ok look here. The baby that could be Nicole has the same two moles on her right cheek in the same spot as well." Ms Greene says. I run my hand through my hair frustrated. "I mean I don't see why not. She was capable of hurting us any way she wanted and letting me get raped. Who says she isn't capable of kidnapping." Nicole says unsure still. "Yeah will it's not. That's our mom. May be the worst mom ever but she is. May not look like her but she is." I tell them before standing up. "If you don't mind I'll finish eating in my room alone.
