"So do you know what you like." Lauren asked me as we looked around Rue 21. I looked up at her and shook my head. "Yes but not really. I don't really shop like that." I tell her. "Well what about this shirt?" Lauren holds up a shirt for me to see. I make a face. "That has flowers on it and it's a crop top. I'm not Nicole." I say and she nods. "Ok what about this hoodie?" I looked at it and saw Selena on it. "I'm definitely getting that. Oh and there's a shirt as well." I grab the ones with my size with a smile. Although she couldn't see with the mask over my face. "Good. Cause I would've hade to kill you if you didn't like it." She jokes.
After getting what I wanted we moved on to the shoe store. I'm not gone lie it was kinda overwhelming. Being with people I should instantly know but don't. Them spending money on us without second guessing it. I'm not used to it. Usually I'm spending my whole paycheck to get Nicole and i the necessities we needed. "Here's your receipt. You two have a nice day." The employee says with a smile. "Where's my sister?" I asked starting to feel agitated. "She's with mami." Lauren tells. "Let's go find them." I say and walk of in a random direction. "Hey!" Lauren calls out.
When she finally catches up she grabs my shoulder to stop me but I jerk away. "Your going the wrong way. Are you ok?" She asks. "I'm fine. I just want my sister." I say looking down. "Ok we'll go to them. Follow me." Lauren starts leading me to the correct direction. Once getting to the store they were in I instantly went to Nicole. "What happened?" She asked at how quickly I walked to her side. "Nothing happened." I tell her. Nicole puts down the shirt she was looking at and turns to me. "The truth." She demands. "That is the truth. I'm done shopping." I tell her but she kept staring at me. "I got worried ok. Now stop asking questions and hurry up." I say and distract my self with looking through the clothes. Nicole sighs and does the same. "It's ok. I know you were sad without me." She says and I'm pretty sure she was smirking. I chuckled and and softly shoved her.
