Bill lead me through the muggle streets we peered into different bars, finally finding one we liked. He held to door open for me to walk through, we found a booth and Bill sat down, I went to sit opposite but he pulled on my arm, making me sit down next to him. I reached over to the drinks menu and scanned the list, I could feel Bill rest his chin on my shoulder as he looked down the list of cocktails. We decided on drinks and I jumped up, walking over to the bar and leaning over to talk to the woman behind, ordering our drinks. I could feel Bill's eyes on me as I watched the woman pour out our drinks, looking over to him he smiled sweetly. I paid for our drinks and carried them back over to our table.

We chatted some more as we drank and at about eleven thirty the bar started to play loud music, forcing us to sit closer together so that we could actually hear each other. We drank a few more drinks and decided that the music was too loud, wanting something a little bit more low-key. I slid some money over to the woman behind the bar as a tip and she thanked me before going back to trying to serve a very drunk businessman. We walked through the streets and it had gotten quite cold, I rubbed my arm subtly, it didn't go unnoticed however as Bill looked down at me. "Cold?" He said. I shook my head, "No, I'm f-" I started but I could already feel his suit jacket on my shoulders. I looked up at him and stopped walking, he stopped and turned his body to face mine. "What? Is something wrong?" He said, walking a little closer to me. I shook my head and smiled, "No." I said softly, he smiled. His smile sent butterflies racing through my stomach and my heart skipped a beat. I reached up and pulled on his tie to pull him down to my level, he laughed and I placed my hand on the back of his head. He held onto my hips with his hands and I pulled on his neck, pushing my lips into his. He wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me up, so I was no longer stood on the floor, I threw my head back and laughed before resting my forehead against his. He pushed his lips back up into mine and set me back down on the floor. I pulled away and we both smiled at each other, I laughed as he rapidly kissed my cheek and tickled my waist, fighting him off and taking his hand in mine as we walked through the street.

We found a small bar on the street corner and walked in, laughing and not paying attention to anything apart from each other. We stayed in this bar for a while, the only music coming from a piano in the corner. "So, how'd I do on my first ever date?" I said, taking a sip of my wine. "Hmmm. I'd say pretty good, however, I think I'd have to take you out again to be sure." He said, raising an eyebrow at me. I laughed and we talked for a while more until we noticed it was almost one in the morning. "I should probably get you home." Bill said, putting his arm around me. "Am I that boring?" I said with a smile, he opened his mouth to protest. "I'm joking! It's getting late." I said standing up, Bill stood up with me and took my hand in his, opening the door for me to walk through.

We reached the door of the apartment and I leaned my head against it. "I've had a lot of fun tonight." I said, Bill leaned against the door. "Me too Lupin." He said, smiling. We stood in a comfortable silence for a while, hearing Harli's laughter from inside. "Do you want to come in? Have another drink?" I said, nervously anticipating his answer. "Riles, I genuinely thought you weren't gonna ask then and I would have to go home." He said making me laugh as I pushed open the door. "Harls?" I called in, a drunk Harli ran to the door, shouting as she got closer, "How did it go? Are you in loooove?" I laughed awkwardly as she yelled. I opened the door a little wider and she saw Bill stood behind me. "Oooooh! Hi Billy." She said in a hushed shout. "Is Fred here?" I said, she nodded, "in the bedroom love." She said. "Any chance you could just keep him in there?" I asked, holding onto her shoulders. "Oh you don't have to worry about that, he's out cold." She said, ushering us in. I handed Bill his suit jacket back and walked over to the fridge to get a bottle of wine out, the only thing in there was a bottle of prosecco from Christmas. "Prosecco ok?" I said, turning to Bill with the bottle in my hand. "Sounds great." He said, hanging his jacket on the coat stand by the door and walking over to me, resting his hands on my hips as I popped the cork of the bottle. Harli leaned against the door as it was closed, looking between the two of us, "awwww." She stuck out her bottom lip. I turned to look at her, "Harls." I said, gesturing my head to her bedroom. "Oh, yeah, have fuuuun!" She said as she ran back to her room.
