I stayed in the living room talking to George for a while until around 11am when Harli came out of her room. "Out." She said, shooing at Fred and George. They both furrowed their eyebrows, "Out!" She said, shooing them towards the door and opening it for them. "But..." Fred protested, she gently pushed on his chest and the two boys walked out into the hallway, she shut and locked the door and listened for them as they grumbled and walked down the stairs. "What was that about Harls?" I said, picking up George's mug from the table and walking into the kitchen. "I needed them out, I still haven't heard about last night! And, I got these!" She said, holding up a bag. I raised an eyebrow at her and looked between her and the bag, she reached in and pulled out some sheet face masks and a bottle of prosecco. I laughed and walked over to her, she held both the face masks out for me to choose from. I took the one that had a cartoon panda on it and flopped down onto the sofa.

Harli cheered as she popped the cork of the bottle and poured us both a glass. "Harli! We haven't even had lunch yet!" I shouted through. She sat on the sofa next to me and waved her wand, bringing through an assortment of different snacks. I rolled my eyes as I took a glass from her, clinking it against hers. "Go on, tell me everything!" She said, reaching her hand into a bag of crisps as I started to tell her about the events of the night before. She listened along animatedly, sipping her drink and giving me every facial expression. "Tonight?" She gasped, I nodded, "six o'clock." I said, unable to hide the grin on my face, she squealed and grabbed onto my leg. "Where are you going?" She said, opening up the face mask and laying it over her face. "I don't know." I said, copying her and leaning back, closing my eyes.

After all the snacks were eaten and our drinks finished, I made my way to the bathroom to shower. As I washed my hair, I thought about everything that had gone on the night before, and mainly how handsome Bill had looked in a suit. I finished up in the shower and wrapped myself in a towel, as I left the bathroom, I still had the grin etched on my face, which Harli, of course, took the mickey out of. She sat with me in my bedroom as I picked out an outfit for later on, remembering Bill said that it wouldn't be a formal date so to wear something comfortable. Harli decided she would do my hair for me, drying it in a way that kept it curly, and using a curling wand to touch it up. She took a small flower hair clip and put it in the right side of my hair. "Gorgeous." She said, kissing the top of my head.

The rest of the afternoon we spent sat in front of the TV, watching rubbish programmes and shouting at the people on said programmes. Harli took it upon herself to start cooking at 5pm, so I retreated to my bedroom to put on my makeup and get dressed. I drew on my eyeliner, making sure the wing was sharp, pulling mascara through my eyelashes and swiping on some lipstick. I stood up to get changed, pulling on a white t-shirt and rolling the sleeves up slightly, tucking it into some baggy, dogtooth print trousers and throwing a baggy, brown, corduroy shirt over top, leaving it open. I put on some Dr Martens shoes and tied them up, feeling satisfied with the clunky-ness of them I grabbed a tote bag and put my purse, keys, glasses and ID card in. Just as I'd finished getting ready Harli called through, "He's here Riles!"

I walked out into the living room, seeing Harli leant against the door talking to Bill. I walked up to them and put my chin onto Harli's shoulder, "Hi, love" I said, she turned to hug me and kissed my cheek. "Have fun babs." She said and she walked back over to the stove, "No funny business and you have them back by 11!" She shouted, pointing her wooden spoon at Bill. "Yes Ma'am." He said. I rolled my eyes and pulled the door closed, walking out into the hallway. "Hi." I finally said, looking up at him, he was wearing a black hoodie and jeans covered with a leather jacket, his hair down and falling over his shoulders, "Hi." He said, cupping my face with his hand and planting a soft kiss on my lips. I heard someone clear their throat on the stairs below us, looking over to see George stood, a box in his hands, awkwardly looking around the hall. "George I-" Bill started, I put my hand on his chest. "It's ok, he knows." I said, George nodded and looked at us both. "Oh." Bill said, sheepishly and he shuffled his feet. I took hold of his hand and walked down the stairs and past George, who walked up and let himself into the apartment.
