"So long and good riddance" Heather said smugly,
honestly glad that the robot was gone. Then her worst fear happened. Him.
"Heather, look" Jo murmured to her.
Everyone screamed yelps of surprise but Heather couldn't keep her mouth from falling open. He was there. Alive. Not covered by lava. He's really here. And it's not a dream she thought to herself, does he still like me?
She angrily shoved that last thought out of her head He was there. And there was nothing she could do about it, nothing at all. She didn't notice anyone standing next to her until she heard a voice
"does it hurt"?
She turned around seeing Zoey standing there looking at her through innocent doe like eyes.
"Does what hurt"? Heather asked dreading what she was about to ask.
"Does it hurt seeing Alejandro"?
Heather thought about lying, she thought about coming up with a snarky sentence. But for some reason she trusted Zoey.
"Yeah it does a lot actually" she replied honestly gulping.
Zoey smiled sadly "maybe you should talk to him"?
Heather shook her head "he's probably still furious with me".
Zoey shrugged "you'll never know until you try".
Heather let those words sink in. Was he mad at her? Did he love her?
"I should go now" Heather said "to get back to my team".
Zoey nodded her head and waved as Heather walked away. Deep down heather appreciated Zoey's little pep talk a lot. Maybe she would talk to alejandro. Or maybe she wouldn't....
