Chapter nine: he still loves me

"Come on Heather! We're about to watch the latest episode!"! Jo shouted to heather who was currently doing a face mask.

"People these days'' Heather muttered walking downstairs and taking a seat on the ground as everyone else was taking up the couch.

"Sha-lighting could've won by punching all of them"! Lightning boasted as the fighting began.

Jo snorted "no you couldn't have we all known thats a lie"!

Heather sighed as the two began bickering once again. Heather didn't pay attention to the episode at all. Until something caught her eye. He punched his own brother because he insulted Heather. She felt pink rise up in her cheeks and she almost wanted to smile.

"I know you're watching this Heather call me" she heard him say on the windscreen tv.

Jo chuckled "Looks like you and lover boy can hook up"!

Heather threw a pillow at her "I don't like him! Ok''!

Jo didn't respond but it was evident from her facial expression she didn't believe her.

"Oh Hannah! Jalapeno still likes you!" Lindsay screeched hugging Heather.

"Eww get off me"! Heather screeched detaching the dumb blonde from herself.

She tried everything to get her mind off that handsome jerk. She went to the gym, she sunbathed, she even tried talking to the other ex competitors. But none of it worked. Then her phone which she finally got back buzzed.

'Hey did you watch the latest episode'?

It read making Heather smile. It was Cody! She wondered how he was doing watching Sky. Probably horribly to be honest.

'Yeah... don't remind me... how's sky'?

She replied relaxing into her bed which was much nicer than the ones at camp. 'She's great! We had marshmallows for lunch today! Anyways do you still like him'???

She took a deep sigh Cody wasn't very good at subtlety. She didn't respond for a long time and almost forgot about his text until her phone buzzed once again.

'Hello! Heather are you still there'????

Heather sighed just wanting to relax

'gtg hanging out with Lindsay' she lied shutting her phone to silent.

She doubted he would buy her lie but it was worth a try. That night her dreams were filled with him once again but this time it was a good dream, a marvelous dream. Until she heard a voice
