Chapter sixteen: Brother wars

It had been about one week since total drama had ended when she had gotten a phone call from him. They exchanged numbers sometime during world tour. When they did Heather couldn't remember.

She answered her phone with a groggy "hello"??

She was annoyed that someone had interrupted her quiet time of the day yet again. "Sorry chica did I wake you"?

She couldn't help but smile hearing his voice "no no it's fine" she said there was no way she could fall back asleep after getting a call from him. "

I'm sorry about everything that happened with jose.."

his voice trailed off and neither of us said a word."anyways" he said clearing his voice "I was wondering if you wanted to come over? Cody told me this is usually the night when he watches Sky so you can rest".

Heather smiled honestly just glad to hear his voice again "sure that sounds great"!

After saying goodbye they hung up and heather pondered on what to wear. She didn't want to wear something super fancy and come off as a try hard but she also didn't want to be caught wearing sweatpants. In the end she decided on wearing her signature outfit as nothing else seemed to catch her attention.

"HEATHER!!! Your boyfriend is here"!!! Sierra practically screamed to Heather.

Quickly rushing downstairs Heather opened the door immediately smiling at him. "Hi," he said, returning her smile.

"Hey" she said not taking her eyes off him. On the car ride to wherever they were going they didn't say much. Well they talked but it was almost strained. It felt unnatural.

"Where are we going"? Heather asked him curiously, turning down the radio that was blasting music.

"You'll see," he responded smirking.

She just laughed shaking her head. A year ago she couldn't stand to be in the same room as him but oh had things changed.

"Alright you're going to have to close your eyes" he said, still smirking.

Heather raised an eyebrow at him crossing her arms in front of her chest.

"Don't you trust me"?

She chuckled "not really".

"I'll take that as a yes"! Reluctantly heather closed her eyes. And when she opened them she broke into a smile. Surrounding her were lanterns floating into the night sky. It reminded her of that scene from tangled.

"Its beautiful" she said in awe taking in every aspect of this place. Until she heard a voice

"Al are you seriously still with her''? They both turned around seeing Jose standing there. Heather glared at him

"are you seriously still single" she bit back causing him to drop his smirk and frown.

Jose glared at her and his brother wanting nothing more than to punch them both.

"You are such a bitc-'' he began before Alejandro punched him in the face. Jose punched him back and before heather knew it they were having a full on fight. She sighed

"This is ridiculous, cut it out" she shouted at them.

She tried to pull Jose off Alejandro when his elbow slammed into her cheek knocking her out.
