"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH"

Was the only sound that filled the girls side of the cabin in the middle of the night. Heather woke up sweating and panting. Then suddenly the lights turned on

"heather are you alright"? Gwen asked, looking up at Heathers bunk.

"Who cares! I'm trying to sleep here!" Jo muttered stuffing her face into her pillow.

Heather nodded "yeah- i'm fine i'm just going to get some fresh air."

With that Heather walked out of the cabin the coolness of the night hitting her. She sat down by the beach tossing stones in the water.

She couldn't help but gasp as she heard that oh so awfully familiar voice.

"What are you doing here"? She asked, still not facing him.

"I could ask you the same thing".

Heather rolled her eyes, turning to face him "but I asked first".

Alejandro finally gave in and began to speak

"well us men heard a scream come from your side of the cabin and I volunteered to see if the ladies were all right".

Heather wanted nothing more than to say something rude to him but then she thought of sky. Without him she wouldn't have a beautiful baby girl who changed her life for the better.

"I was having a nightmare so I was screaming in the nightmare and I suppose I didn't realize I was screaming in real life as well".

Alejandro eyed her curiously "what was the nightmare about mi amor?"

Heather shook her head "it doesn't matter".

"Well it obviously matters if you don't want to talk about it."

Heather shot a glare at him "well maybe I just don't want to talk about it".

Neither of them said anything for a while until Alejandro broke the silence "so what ended up happening"?

Heather locked eyed with him "huh"?

He sighed "with the baby".

Heathers eyes dropped to the sand "I should go".

Without another glance back she ran back to her cabin. She wanted nothing more than to tell him about sky and for sky to have a father. But she was afraid. Afraid of making the same mistake she made last time. Afraid of falling in love

But mostly she was afraid of herself. Of the things she was capable of and could do. When she was younger she wanted nothing more than being an adult. But now she realized being an adult was hard.

Really hard.
