Heather couldn't get her daughters words out of her head on the drive back home.

"Is that dada"? Of course she had pretended not to hear her. What else would she of done! She sat in silence not interacting with anyone else in the car. She could feel Cody and Sierras eyes on her but she chose not to speak.

When they got home heather felt a pang of happiness. She hadn't been to her home in forever. Well since all stars. Then she saw someone she was thrilled to see.

"Duncan"! She shouted smiling. Somehow the two of them had gotten very close. She thought of him as a brother almost.

"Heather"! He shouted back.

The two of them embraced but her smile faded quickly as her thoughts drifted back to alejandro.

"What happened"? He said quietly, putting an arm around her for support.

"It's a long story," she said sighing.

"Well we've got a long time i'm moving in"!

She smiled "that's great duncan". She was happy she was truly happy. But for some reason happiness just wouldn't flow through her at the moment.

"You ok queenie" he said seriously looking at the sadness evident on Heather's face.

She shook her head "I don't want to talk about it". As much as she wouldn't admit it she missed Alejandro already. She was mad that his brother acted that way with her the thought made her shudder. But she was home. WIth her 'family' and that's what mattered.
