Song | Morphine - Unlike Pluto

Y/n's POV

After spending the morning lazily with me, Chan leaves to see his old friends and such.  I didn't mind. Because I didn't blame him. I would have loved to see old friends and live old sweet memories... To say I was just jealous was understatement. He got to move without restrain. And See without blinds. It was all the things that were taken away from me that he gets to do. Chan was living. But me? I might as well be dead.

And if I'm dead. This should be heaven, Right?

I sighed loudly at the ceiling before grabbing a hoodie from Chan's closet. Silently did I stare at that plain  black hoodie within my hands. However, the only thing that wasn't silent was the voices in my head arguing and battling one another to make sense of all my feelings from every moment within my life.
Suddenly, as stood there scrambling through thoughts, the door opens.
"Chan-"
I'm met with Jake who stood staring at me a bit taken back for I was only wearing underwear and a bra. Quickly I put the hoodie on.
"So many scars." He says.
"Could you look away?!" I say snapping at him pulling on some shorts as well.
"Oh yeah I'm sorry." He covers his eyes.
"It's too late for that." I shut the door behind him.
"Pretend you never saw me."
"Chan would kill me I know." I pause hearing the word kill.  Like he had a clue...
"So forget everything you saw."
"So how'd you get those.." he asks softly.
"Fucking leave."
"Wait— " I then began pushing him out the door.

Why do I keep fucking up? Every time Chan says not to get caught... I end up getting found out. I really hope that his brother doesn't go looking too far into it. I'd rather not have more people die.. Not like last time.

Jake's POV

I've never seen that much scars on a body before. So many wounds that looked as if they were once deep and nasty. I stood there thinking over everyone of them. A gash on her stomach? Lines on her chest and cuts on her legs? The one that caught me off guard was the one on her thigh. It was big and a bit too faded to read. However, There was no doubt it was someone's initials. But who?
"Jake?"
"Mum?"
"What are you doing?"  She asks.
"I was just checking on Y/n."
"Right, I was just about tell her I made lunch."
"I'll tell her."
"Alright. You two head down as soon as possible."
"Of course."

She walks back down to the kitchen and I deeply sigh in frustration. As I do so, Chan's door opens to reveal Y/n.
"Your still here." She pouts.
"I was actually going to tell you mum made lunch."
"Right. Thanks." She walks out and heads over to the   Kitchen. I follow suit and sit on the chair across from her.

"Chan's not back yet?" Mum asks.
"Not yet." I state as my mother sets down sandwiches.
"He must have let time slip away." She says. The phone rings out and my mother walks out quickly to answer it leaving Y/n and I in an awkward silence.

"Whose initials are on your thigh?" I asked taking a bite.
"If you don't know , it should stay that way." She says casually enjoying her sandwich.
"Well, is Chan keeping you from someone who did that to you?" She scoffs .
"It's not that simple."
"Then-" she becomes angry cutting me off.
"Why do you want to know so much? It's none of your business who did it." I looked down, I guess I was a bit too pushy.
"Sorry. I won't ask again.." She looks down a bit sad. It was like she was everywhere with her emotions today. Or so it seemed.
"Look Jake, I'm sorry for getting onto-"
"Your right it's none of my business. Let's just leave it at that." I rolled my eyes and continued on eating. The silence fills back the room layering it thicker than blood. I shouldn't be asking such questions. Besides, Chan wouldn't want me being so nosy. Even if this was a bit suspicious, it wasn't any of my business. Right?
